Chapter 3 Part 22: Investigation Start

"The body was found in the Ultimate Artist's Lab. The time of death was approximately 2 in the morning. The cause of death is a stab wound to the back of the neck. The forehead also has a laceration."

So there were two wounds that we needed answers for. The stab wound that did the killing blow, and what could've caused the forehead laceration.
When reading the Monokuma File, I also noticed something slightly different than the last time. The time of death was included as well as the supposed cause of death, which was a stab to the neck with some sort of sharp item or weapon. The last case, there was no time of death because the time of death the last tome would've given away the culprit. I guess this time the time of death wouldn't give it away.
This did concern me though because of the fact that everyone was most likely sleeping at the time of the murder. If that's the case, then we wouldn't be able to rely on witness testimonies. Maki was saying the same thing as well.
The murder happened during the nighttime, just like the last one. Tsumugi was stating that if everyone would've followed the rules, this wouldn't have happened.
That was defiantly not true. This was what I was fearing would happen because of what the student council is trying to do. The student council rules, the role of those who weren't in the council. It was miserable indeed.
My only possibility for now until Angie wakes up is the hypothesis that Angie was killed by one of the student council members. Kiyo thought the same as well. So far, the only thing that would make sense is if a student council member killed Angie, but maybe there's something going on that is making us think that. Maybe it's because of the time of death.
More discussion happened from that saying, and Himiko's sadness showed even more. Himiko couldn't bring herself to investigate her friends body. I could understand that. When Rantaro was dead, I didn't want to investigate his body.
It hurt me too much to even do that. I smiled lightly at Himiko and gave her a small hug.
"Everything will be alright, Himiko," I told her, "I have a feeling that something good will happen. You just have to wait."
"What do you mean...?" Himiko asked in response, looking down.
"I mean that good things will happen if you wait. Angie loved you so much, so you have to fight for her," I told her.
"But I can't..." Himiko said in a sad voice.
"Yes you can. You have to believe in yourself though. You can do anything if you believe..." I said.
"If you really want to speak to Angie, I believe I do have the solution," Kiyo explained, walking into the room.
I was slightly confused. A lot more people were coming into the site where Angie was found. It was starting to give me anxiety. All I wanted to do was wait for Angie to wake up, but I couldn't just stop investigating.
"We can summon her spirit with a seance called The Caged Child," Kiyo explained.

Third Person POV:

"WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED!?" Kokichi exclaimed as he felt himself. in a rage.
With a burst of adrenaline, he knocked over the trash can containing a certain thing from a certain case.
Kokichi looked over at the round spectacle on the floor, taking notice of the features it had. It was a sphere, rolling slightly on the floor before coming to a complete stop. The dark gray/black hue it had with a metallic look as well. There were certain things sticking to the item. Pink fibers, seeming to come from some sort of pink outfit or accessory.
Kokichi smirked at it, before lifting it up to meet his gaze.
The item was the shot put ball used by Kaede, but her plan did fail. Kokichi decided he would discard it in his secret lair because no one would be able to get in without his card key.
"I guess I have to kill you again..." Kokichi said as he looked up at the blank screen.
It's been a little while since the connection went out, and it still hasn't turned back on. Kokichi knew it must've been the work of that device Miu made for (y/n). He knew that she was the key to all of this. All he had to do was prove it.
"This is MY game. I make the rules," Kokichi said to himself, "I will expose you (y/n). I will make sure that there's no doubt in my mind that you are the one causing my game to fail. Once I pinpoint that it's you... I'm going to take you out of the killing game... and make sure you can never save anyone again..."
Kokichi let out an evil laugh as he was saying this. He got his kicks from making people suffer. It was just who he was, and the dead coming back to life was really pissing him off, especially when Rantaro came back.
"I'm going to break you down, (y/n). I'm going to tear you down until despair is the only emotion that remains. Once you are broken, you won't fight back," Kokichi said, laughing evilly after saying that, "and once you realize that you can't do anything to stop me, I'll start my revenge on Rantaro. I'll kill him in front of you and make you watch. You'll be so broken, all you will do is obey my every command. Just you wait, my beloved. You can't escape the wrath of the mastermind..."
