Chapter 26

It was Saturday and the Manobans are preparing the dinner. Lisa had told Jisoo that she invited Dahyun and Seulgi too. "What are you cooking?" Lisa asked as she hugged her wife from the back making Jennie smiled. "Your favourite, kimchi fried rice. I've also cooked Pad Thai, Green Curry and Tom Yam." Just by hearing those names made Lisa's mouth water.

"I can't wait to taste all of those." The younger girl gave a peck to her wife and went to the dining table. She double checked everything, then the door's bell rang. "They're here!" Lisa shouted to inform the cook. Lisa went to the door and opened it, revealing The Kangs and The Kims.

"You guys came together?" Lisa asked and hugged each other. As they got in, Jennie just finished cooking and went towards them to give a hug to everyone.

"I went to the hospital earlier to meet Seulgi so yeah." Jisoo explained. Lisa nodded and told her friends to have a sit. "So have you met Dahyun's girlfriend?" Rosé asked Lisa who was sitting beside Jennie. They were waiting for Dahyun and the mystery girl. Lisa shook her head. "The past three days she had only talked about her. The way she praise her girlfriend seems like the girl is from a good family, but not as good as my baby here." Lisa patted Jennie's head who pouted as Lisa laughed. "Yah! I'm not your baby. I'm much older than you."

"And very clingy too." The others chuckled looking at the couples. As much as they missed their peace, they also miss Lisa's annoying laugh that can make others laugh too. A hour passed and the bell rang again. "She must be here already!" Jisoo shouted. Lisa went to the door and opened it, revealing her ex and a beautiful girl, her wavy brown hair. Lisa smiled at the girl, "You must be the lucky girl." she smiled shyly. Lisa gave Dahyun a tight hug and a friendly handshake with the girl. "I'm sorry I'm late." Dahyun apologized. Lisa shook her head and let the two girls in. The new couples were shy so they just follow Lisa until they met five pairs of eyes looking at them.

"Hey everyone." Dahyun mumbled barely audible. Jisoo smiled and waved her hand. "Dahyun-ssi! It's been a while since we last met." Rosé saluted at the other girl too. Lisa fake a cough and invited them to sit at the dining table. As they were eating and talking randomly, Rosé looked at Dahyun. "So who's this lucky girl?" Dahyun chuckled and put down her spoon. "You guys seriously don't remember her?" the other couples looked at Dahyun confused. "This is Sana. She used to be in the back of our class." Jisoo was the first one to remember as her eyebrows raised and her mouth formed into and O. "You're that Sana? The neardy cheerleader?" The girl raised her hand shyly and waved at everyone. "Well, you can say that." Sana said casually and chuckled. Then Lisa, Jennie and Rosé finally coped up as soon as they heard her voice.

Lisa chuckled looking at the girl. "So it's really you! Nice choice, Dahyun-ssi." Lisa laughed as Dahyun furiously blushed. "Don't be shy. We're here as a family!" Then Lisa looked at the older couples.

"Oh Seulgi, Irene Unnie! She used to be my classmate back then, so yeah." Lisa said. Seulgi nodded and looked at Sana. "Hey I'm Seulgi, this is my wife, Irene. Don't worry let's just get along well, okay?" Sana smiled and nodded happily. The whole family blabbered and filled the whole house with laughters. Dahyun and Sana was a bit awkward at first but then they started to cope up and finally they felt comfortable. They were talking and laughing, but there was only one person who was just observing the atmosphere. Come to think that she successfully made this atmosphere alive, Lisa smiled. She couldn't ask for more. With amazing friends, her amazing wife, amazing life. What could be more great?

The night went on and on until the house was empty. Jisoo and Rosé were the last couples to go home as they insisted to help the other couple clean the table. Lisa who just finished cleaning the dished slumped her body on the sofa beside Jennie. The brunette quickly snuggled to Lisa's side and hugged her. Lisa sighed contentedly as she hugged her lover. "Lisa-yaa." Jennie called out. Lisa hummed in response.
