Chapter Two.
Aspen King
There he was. He was sitting right there and he probably wasn't aware of my presence. Go talk to him.But I couldn’t. There was something holding me back. He was looking at a rather pretty blond across the food court. I knew I was supposed to be looking for him, and he was looking for me but it kind of hurt to see him watching her like that. Oh stop being a baby.I called out his name.
“Parker!” He looked up, and when his eyes met mine, I swore my heart melted right then and there. He jogged over to me. Oh my god, Aspen. Do not be weird. Please don’t be weird.
“Hey,” he said with a heartwarming smile. “Hi,” I replied shyly, tucking my hair behind my ear. I mentally slapped myself in the face. “Are you okay?” He said looking at me weirdly. “Yeah. Why..?” “You just kind of flinched back after you said ‘hi’.” Damn.“Oh yeah, sorry about that.” We both laughed nervously. You couldn’t not be weird for five seconds? “Well we should probably get going. My dad’s waiting at home with the guys.” I nodded slowly, then realized I didn’t know who ‘the guys’ were. “Wait who are ‘the guys’?”
Parker laughed. Great job, Aspen, now he thinks you’re stupid. “The guys from the band we’re touring with. You know, 5 Seconds of Summer?” “Oh yeah, them.”
The car ride to his house was okay, to say the best. Kind of awkward, but okay.
“So how have you been?” he asked. “Good, I was kind of pissed when I found out about going on a world tour, but it should be fun. Cameron really likes 5SOS, so he's happy and sad that I left,” I said with a laugh. Parker laughed and said, “I liked Cameron, he was cool, but crazy.” “Yeah, definetley crazy,” I said, remembering how Cameron had a crush on Parker. But then again, Cameron has a crush on almost every guy he meets. “The guys are really cool,” Parker said, changing the subject. “You'll like them.” “I hope so,” I stated with a laugh, “It'd kind of be a problem if I didn't,” Parker laughed and agreed with me, and we stayed silent for the rest of the ride.
Parker and I walked into the house together, and we were met with four fairly tall [and quite attractive] guys on the couch.
Luke Hemmings
We were sitting on the couch playing fifa when Parker walked in with a really short, really attractive girl.
By the way she looked at us, she either did not like us, didn't know who we were, or she just wasn't a fan.
Parker was the first to speak.
“Hey guys! This is Aspen, she's a family friend, and she's going to be joining us on the tour.”
“Hi,” she mumbled shyly, looking down at her feet as she blushed.
I'm just going to say it. She was hot.
Like really really hot.
I was the first to introduce myself.
“Hi, I'm Luke. I can show you to your room if you'd like,” I said with what I thought was a charming smile.
Apparently not, because when Parker offered to take her instead, she agreed in a second.
Well then. I guess being famous and rich won't help with this one at all.
Author's Note!
