Chapter 1: Let's go!

Our dream was to have a trip in Korea. We waited for this for 5 years. Maybe you are wondering how we fell in love with Korea?Easy like everyone else through KPOP .

I still remember the first video I saw, it was a video with a K-pop boy group dancing to girls group songs and there was one of them that it really caught my eye. It was Jimin a member of BTS. First, I liked the idols after I started to like the place ,the culture , the fashion and I got familiar with the language . I slowly started to like Korea. I got even my friend Mel into the K-pop world and now we fangirl over BTS and her Bias is Jin.

Our country didn't have a lot of foreigners but this last 4 years you can see foreigners everywhere. Especially Koreans and Asian .

Every time Mel sees a Korean she has a creepy smile on her face that make her really funny. We really wanted to go in Korea but as you may predict the money was the problem we couldn't afford to go there. That's why we decided to start working and sometimes with two shifts .

We wanted to learn Korean language but we didn't had time for that because we were still students .

I study architecture and my friend study justice so we are a future architect and lawyer.

This year Mel graduated and finished the study. Now she is a junior in her new profession. I'm still studying I have one more year to graduate . But guess at the end of this intensive year we finally made the money and started our trip planned years ago. Our 8 days trip has just begun.

The flight we booked was with transition in Istanbul and we had to wait for two hours until the next flight to Seoul so we decided to see the city because it was a way to spend this two ours .We took photos during our little tour Meli looked really good in those pictures but we couldn't say the same thing for me because she is terrible at taking photos . Anyway, the thing is that we were missing the plane like always happened we always forgot about important things . When finally we sit in our seats we really hoped and prayed that during all this trip something bad should never happen.

During the flight we burst our time listening to music and I think I did even slept I just heard Mel voice .

Mel"Omg we really made it!"

I open my eyes and saw that we arrived to the airport .

"Yeah we made it."

Mel"Omg we only have 20 more minutes to land.I can't believe we really made it."

"I still can't believe that we are here. Am I still dreaming or what?!"

Mel"I can wake you up".

Mel slapped me to wake me up but that hurted.

"Auuuu . That hurts"

Mel"You're up . Good"

20 minutes past and the plane landed.

Mel" You know what. We are stepping in Korean land."

"Don't be so dramatic. But yeah we really are."

Anyway let's get our luggage.

Just for you to know Meli travels really light. I don't. I take with me even things that I don't need, just in case. When we were going to the exit we saw a lot of people gathered together.

Mel"What is going on? Do you think that is an idol group? Should we go and check?"

"I don't think so. We are not that lucky remember."

Mel"Ahh you're right. But I thought that at least once we will have a bit of luck."

We stopped looking at the crowd of people and we went to the exit. Because there were a lot of people we couldn't get through. That's why the airport security guard detected all of the travelers to another exit. Cause at the main exit was impossible to get out. I don't know but to me it looked like a movie when someone dies. It's just me or.... Anyway back to the story. At this exit were not a lot of people. There were only a few but even here some of them were rushing.

Mel"I think something is happening. Why is everyone so strange?"

" I don't know. Maybe this is a normal day at the Incheon airport. Or maybe there is a fight. I have seen it in kdramas. Or maybe you were right. There is an idol group...."

Mel" Hahahahah. Yeah right. Anyway let's go,our taxi it's waiting."

Do you remember when I said that the security guards directed us to another exit. Yeah. That was the VIP exit, that's why there were not a lot of people. All of the sudden a group of people surrounded by a lot of bodyguards came towards us. They were wearing face masks and hats.

Mel"Omg we were right. They were idols."

Who are them. They were 7 I think. But there are a lot of groups with 7 members right?!

Without even realising everyone that was at the other exit came to this one. I was wondering if this is allowed?. How can they come to this exit. People was pushing and like a clumsy person I am I tripped and I felt. I dropped my phone which I had just a couple of days that I had bought it. The phone got turn on and the wall paper was showing. It's Jimin of BTS. He is just so handsome and cute at the same time. He is just wow. Beck to the story. Why I keep getting out of it. But for Jimin I can talk the whole day.

"My phone! Please, please, please!"
Than this person offered to help me. It was a member from the idol group but I don't know who it was cause he had a bucket hat and a face mask. I couldn't even see his eyes. He grabbed the phone and he saw the wallpaper and just said "Nice one". I didn't know how to react and just standed there. I didn't even said thank you cause there were no time.

Mel started to freak out.

Mel"OMG OMG OMG. An idol just helped you. OMGGGGG"

"Yeah😳. That really did happened. But I would wanted someone else to help me 😌. And you know who. But still I feel happy. Who can have the chance to meet an idol. "

Mel" You know for what I am not happy for? Our taxi. I think he left. "

We took another taxi and FINALLY arrived to the hotel. We are staying at the "Hotel the Designers Seoul Station". It was a really nice room. But anyway we were not going to spend a lot of time in the hotel room. We wanted to do everything that we planted for a week. Cause just to know we plan before doing something.

First we wanted to leave our luggage at the hotel and to go out and eat some delicious food. That's what we did. We took a shower, change into comfortable clothes and went out. When we searched about the places where to eat we found the Gwangjang Market. And yeah. We went there. This time we took the bus. We arrived there. And the view was amazing.😅 There was food everywhere. In our city doesn't have this kind of places where you can eat like this.

Anyway, we started to try some different food but we didn't wanted to try all of them, cause we headed six more days to stay here and try other things. like other places to eat, shop for clothes etc. What we tryed there was gimbap, tteok-boki, bindae tteok, mandu, bungeoppang, and of course kimchi. We couldn't eat anymore for now. Our belly was full. My favourite was tteok-boki. Mel's favourite food was kimchi. Btw she wanted to take some kimchi home. Of course we took a lot of pictures. Like everyone one else. After the Gwangjang Market we just walked on the Seoul streets and we saw some shops. That's my favourite part. We bought some clothes which btw there were not so expensive. And don't forget about the cosmetic. I bought a bit to much of these cause I like face cream and make up. Mel bought just a few. Yeah she is the kind of person that doesn't buy a lot. She use to buy nothing but now she started to buy some stuff. She is like that and that's a good thing. She saves and I spend. Yeah that's right. I bought too many things that I spended my money and I borrowed from Mel. I always do that by the way. I forgot to mention that we were lucky that the plane landed around the morning that's why we headed almost the whole day to do this things. The night came, and that's how we spended the first day in Seoul. We went to sleep early because we planted something else for tomorrow.
