For the past two years Morgianna and Fafnir have spent every weekend going on missions.

With her body being so young even when her mind isn't it has still taken them all this time just to break into the next level.

Her days at home are filled with Magic lessons, keeping up with practicing her martial arts, and trying to avoid the capture targets.

When she had first started doing her martial arts at home the whole castle was in a frenzy wondering where the young miss had learned her moves. To which she lied and said it was in a book.

"Sis are you going to stay outside all day, it will ruin your skin." Felix who was now 10 had become quite the worrywart. "Did you remember to put on sunblock? I can go get you some. Plus you need to make sure you drink lots of water and blood."

Even after 8 years Morgianna couldn't help but scrunch her nose up at the thought of drinking blood. She had tried multiple times and though the taste wasn't the coppery tangy taste she was expecting if she could get by without drinking it she would.

"I am hydrated. Do not worry Felix." She smiled at him and batted her eyes. Over the years her eye bat only got better. She was afraid her age would take away from her cuteness. But instead she should have been afraid of forever being cute. Cursing the loli gods for still only being barely 4 feet tall.

Felix's cheeks turned pink. "I'm not worried." She couldn't help but laugh at his blatant lie, especially when he was so pink in the face.

Felix huffed before turning back to face her, his smile fading a little. "Father has requested our presence. Said that it was important that we arrived in a timely manner."

Morgianna frowned a little but nodded her agreement to follow. Her father had called them to his office many times over the years and each time was for some public event. Otherwise he would just surprise them throughout the castle or tell them at dinner. His office was the one place she saw him just as serious as everyone else did.

She couldn't help but feel nervous each time she was called to the office, afraid that any day her parents will ask her to start choosing a suitor. The only saving grace on this day was that Felix was with her, surely they would not ask her to choose with him there, right?

Before long they arrived in front of the door to their father's office, knocking to announce their arrival before entering.

"Father." Both Felix and Morgianna said at the same time before moving forward to stand in front of their father's large wooden desk.

Ryland had been scowling at a piece of paper when they entered. Looking at it as if it had personally offended him and everyone he ever held dear. Seeing Felix and Morgianna stand in front of him he tried to force a smile onto his face but it felt weird and unnatural.

"Felix as you know the Prince is having his 11th birthday party next week. Your invitation came in the mail this morning. You have attended the past 2 years and have made me very proud." He handed his son the invitation with his name on it in gold lettering. "That is all for now, you are dismissed."

Felix looked towards his sister who still stood there staring at their father as if she was working out a puzzle. He knew he could not stay after being dismissed by their father so he gave a small smile and excused himself.

Ryland looked towards his daughter and then back at the paper on his desk. His son he could see being invited... but his daughter...

"Father if you frown like that it will give you wrinkles." Morgiannas melodic voice broke him from thoughts almost with a start. Staring at her angelic face he felt so lucky to have such a sweet daughter, unaware of how dark she could be.

"Morgianna, as I have informed your brother the Prince is having his birthday party next week. This morning you received an invitation to attend." Morgiannas thoughts were thrown into turmoil. Why would the prince invite her? It should mainly be young lords from this kingdom and those neighboring it.

To say it is an invitation is also false. When the ruling family "invited" you to something you had to go.

Though inside Morgianna was freaking out she put a smile on her face to ease her father's worry. "I understand father, I will begin making preparations."

Ryland saw his daughter smile which eased his heart only partially. He could not understand why they would request Morgianna to attend the birthday party. The Prince was notorious for not leaving the castle often and for having few show up to any event he held at the castle. Had he ever met Morgianna? All these thoughts swirled through his mind as he stared at his daughter who looked like a small doll with her smile on her face.

"Is that all father?" Her question surprised him. He had not realized he hadn't answered her when she last spoke.

He smiled at her in hopes of lifting the mood."That is all, you are dismissed." He sighed as she left the room. His smile falling from his face and once again being replaced by the scowl he had worn when they first entered.

The king was a friend of his but had not mentioned anything about inviting Morgianna to the castle for the Prince's birthday. Which could only mean one thing. The invitation did not come from the King, but from the Prince himself.
