The Alien Auction - Lena Luthor/Reader(FxF)

The Day After

You woke up the very next morning in the softest bed you've ever been on since your ship. You allowed yourself to enjoy it for a second before everything came back crashing down to you. The bumps, the spilled coffee and then the punishment. Why were you laying on a soft bed after what happened? Opening your eyes, you found yourself face to face with Lena. You scrambled to get out of her bed, only to fall down in the process of doing so. The sound alone is enough to wake up Lena. 

"w..what's going on?"

She asks sleepily. 

"Forgive me, Ms. Luthor. I did not mean to wake you."

She rubs the sleep away from her eyes as she stretches. You can't help but find her adorable in the morning. Lena truly did have two whole sides. One that she showed to her brother and another that she unconsciously showed to you. When she looked back to you, you had already stood up and turned away.

"It's fine. It was already time to wake up anyways. Lex should already be gone and I need to do some tests on you."

Lena saw you immediately tense at her words.

"I'm sorry. I meant that I need to check up on you. Make sure that nothing permanent happened to you."

This relaxes you a bit. Making Lena smile when she sees the small change in you. 

"Right. Go take a shower and dress up in the clothes that I leave out for you. When you're done. Head to the kitchen so we can get some breakfast."

If Lena was going to get you to do anything, she had to literally tell you what to do. Otherwise, you were just going to stand there and think everything was a literal trap. It angered her that your freedom had been truly stripped away. She was going to need you to get you out of those habits little by little. 

"I'll be downstairs if you need me."

"Thank you, Ms. Luthor."

She nods, watching as you head to the bathroom. Picking out some comfortable clothes for you and her to wear, Lena gets dressed and heads downstairs to cook something for the two of you. 

By the time you finish showering and getting dressed, Lena had already set up the table. 

"Breakfast is ready. I wasn't sure what you wanted to drink so I just served you both an orange juice and water. Please sit and eat."

Your mouth started to water at the smell of the food. You were never going to take food for granted. You could feel Lena's eyes as she watches you take a seat. She was truly being so kind to you. All these little things that Lena did was showing you that she truly cared for you. It made you feel silly for thinking that Lena had been working for Lex. Back at the facility, none of them could truly last more than an hour being nice to you before they beat you. It had been a couple of days and Lena hadn't even attempted to do so. Maybe she was one one of the good ones. 

"Please eat. I would hate for this to all go to waste."

"Thank you, Ms. Luthor."

The rest of the hour is spent with Lena doing most of the talking. Telling you all of her life story and stuff like that. You tried to keep a straight face as she told you all about her college years but it was hard to do so when the comments she would make would make you smile. 

"Alright. Lets get you checked out. Thank god, I decided to add my own lab to the house."

She stands up and you follow behind her with your head down. This time Lena walks besides you, subtly guiding you through the maze of her house and back down to her lab. 

"Take a seat, I'll go get everything I need."

"Yes, Ms. Luthor."

As Lena grabs her equipment cart, you take a seat. Each test that Lena would do, she made sure to explain everything in detail. Telling you what each item was, what it did, what it would test and what kind of result it would provide. It was nothing like the ones they had done back at the facility. She was kind and gentle throughout. Helping you with your anxiety as you went through  the tests. 

"Alright. All tests came back negative so nothing is permanent. You'll just need to rest for a couple of days and you'll be good as new. In news of that, I'm taking a mini vacation from work so you won't have to travel the long distance and to avoid any more accidents. They were obviously trying to get you to be punished. But don't worry, I'm going to try to convince Lex to let me start working from home so it won't happen."

"Thank you, Ms. Luthor."

"Come on. Let me introduce you to the joys of movies. You're going to love them."

This time, Lena takes your hand to lead you upstairs. The gesture alone is enough to make you smile. Maybe things would be different this time.
