'I've to fetch Rosé at her office. Are you going to come soon?'

Jennie was in the middle of a meeting when her phone vibrated, indicating Jisoo texted her. Ever since Lisa got in the hospital, she never mute her phone, scared that an important call might go unnoticed. Lisa had been in coma over five months now. Jisoo and Rosé was supposed to get married two months ago but they cancelled it. They had promised to Lisa that they don't mind waiting her. Jennie smiled as she replied.

'Sure. I'll be there soon, meeting rn.'

Jisoo had introduced the girls with Seulgi and Irene. They grew closer, and that's one thing Jennie hoped Lisa could know since Jisoo told her that Lisa had been very excited to be the one to introduce them. For the past five months, the two couples had been very helpful towards Jennie. When Jennie couldn't be there to take care of Lisa, they'll offer their help.

The meeting finished after an hour. Jennie quickly packed her things and dashed to the parking lot, ready to go to the hospital.

Jennie's p.o.v

The traffic jammed made me late ten minutes than my usual time. Even if Lisa can't give me her warm look nor give me the sweet smile I love now, I'll still wait for all that to happen soon. Yeah soon. I've been waiting for five months, and I don't mind. I just want Lisa to wake up and be happy with me. I got in the elevator and tapped my feet patiently. When I arrived, I walked to Lisa's room at the end of the corner. I was about to walk in when I heard a girl talking, a familiar one.

"I've missed you. I never thought that Kai would do this to you. How has it been? Four? Five months? Poor Jennie."

I clenched my jaw hearing the girl saying those words. But why is she crying? Is she feeling guilty? Was all of this her ideas? I was about to push the door when the next few words coming from the girl made me stop.

"I've met someone new. I've moved on from you, guess that you and Jennie are meant to be," a soft laugh escaped from the girl. "Just as much as I wanted to get rid of her, she'll still be you favourite. Even when you were with me I still remember how her name came out from your mouth sweetly. Jennie Jennie!" the way she said my name seems like she mocked Lisa. It indeed sounded sweet. I didn't realize a smile crept slowly on my face. "I just want to say sorry to you even if you won't answer it. I wish I could talk to Jennie but I feel awful. I did so much bad things to her, to you. How can I face her?" the girl sobbed. I peaked slowly as I saw her sitting at the bedside while squeezing Lisa's hand. She really mean it. I pushed the door open, making her jump in suprise and qiuckly let go of Lisa's hand.

"J-Jennie I--" I cut her off by hugging her. She tensed in my arms and I know why. Then her hands slowly and hesitantly hugged me back. "You took good care of Lisa back then, and I should thank you for that." I said it sincerely as a matter of fact. I pulled away from the hug and looked at her puffy confused eyes. "Jennie.."

"Don't say sorry. I've forgave you. Besides, who am I to be mad at you? We're humans and we do mistakes, let's be friends. I'm sure Lisa would love to see us together." I smiled but she seemed unsure. I squeezed her hand gently, telling her to tell me what's wrong silently. "Will she forgive me?" She asked me in a barely voice.

I smiled again. "Of course she will, she'll surely love you like a sister. Besides," I pointed at Lisa making her turn around, "She heard everything you said. Let's wait a little more for her answer." I assured her. Finally she gave me a small smile, a warm one. "Thank you Jennie. After everything I did to you, you still accept me." She sighed.

"Like I said, we're humans and we do mistakes. We're always even."

We looked at each other for a brief seconds and she looked away. "I should go, I have to meet my girlfriend." she scratched her nape. "We should meet again soon so you can let me meet that lucky girl." I raised my eyebrow playfully as she chuckled. She nodded and bid her goodbye, my eyes followed her until she left the hallway. I turned around and looked at Lisa who was lying calmly on the bed.
