I managed to take notes in every class for Hermione. She still hadn't gotten over that jerk Weasley. It was now almost time for the feast. The Potters may have not been my family but they were Harry's so in a sense I was sad for both of us. Sad for missing what we could of had. Neville gave me a hug today before classes. I know that Hermione hasn't thought about this day from my point of view but Ron nearly got hexed when I finally lost my temper.
Flashback begins
Ron came into Transfiguration class late, with Professor McGonagall in cat form on her table, with Dean Thomas.
"Thank Merlin we made it before the Professor." Dean said
"I wouldn't bet on that." I mumbled
Professor McGonagall jumped off the table turning back into her normal self.
"That was bloody brilliant." Ron said
"Thank you, Mr. Weasley. Now perhaps I should turn one of you into a pocket watch so that one of you can be on time." Professor stated
"Sorry, Professor. We got lost." Dean muttered
"Perhaps a map, Mr. Thomas."
"Yes, Professor."
I stayed quiet and pulled Dean to sit by me to save me from having to sit with Ron. Class began and I was the first to change my matchstick into an elegant and unique needle. It was silver with Celtic designs with an onyx raven on the end. I was so focused on my needle that I never noticed Professor McGonagall was looking over my shoulder.
"Well done Miss Potter. Do you mind if I keep this?" Professor McGonagall asked
"Not at all. Enjoy." I said
I waved my wand and switched the rest of my matchbox into needles then turned them back to matches silently.
"Extremely well done, Miss Potter. 15 points to Ravenclaw."
"Thank you, Professor."
I began helping those around me. By the time class was over, the other three at our table was able to turn their matchsticks silver and pointed. Once class was dismissed I pocketed an extra box of matches for Hermione and explained to McGonagall about Hermione. Ron was waiting outside talking to other Gryffindors so I was trying to slide past without him noticing but failed.
"Hey Harry. Don't forget to come sit with us at Gryffindor for the Halloween feast." Ron said loudly
"First, we are not friends you're a bully. Second, I will not be attending the Halloween feast." I said calmly after taking a deep breath
I did not feel like dealing with Ron today.
"Of course we're best friends. It would be even better if you dropped that buck tooth menace and those snakes. The only decent one you hang out with is Neville but even he's a bit of scaredy cat." Ron guffawed
"You are a bully. You're just mad that Hermione is better than you in every class. Neville is more noble than you can ever dream to be and more hard working. You're jealous of Draco and his family money. My friends are everything you could never hope to be. I don't need someone to try to befriend me for my fame." I said
Ron went red as a tomato as the whispers started.
"You are ruining everything that you were suppose to do. We are suppose to be best friends in Gryffindor. You are not suppose to be in the bookworm house. You are not suppose to be friends with slimy snakes. You are suppose to be Quidditch, pranks, and fun loving Savior. You are NOW not even going to the Halloween feast. The one day of the year where food and candy eating is encouraged . You defeated You Know Who. You're going dark is what you are! Your parents would be ashamed!" Ron ranted in front of everyone

"I refuse to believe that the one wizard that was so evil and horrifying was defeated by an infant. The most probable thing to happen was my mother found a ritual to save me at the sacrifice of herself in the likelihood she couldn't escape with me. Lilly Potter was known as the brightest witch of her year after all. My parents died on Halloween so no I do not wish to celebrate the beginning of the worst years of my life. You are looking for a carbon copy of my father as that is what those fiction books tried to detail me as. I am telling you, Ronald Weasley, that I am not nor will I ever be my father. I found the diaries my mom left me. James Potter was an arrogant bully until my mother forced him to grow up as did life when my grandparents died. You see my father was lucky to have my mother. She is my hero and my role model. You remind a lot of the younger James Potter. Arrogant and a bully to the degree that your mother would be ashamed, but I will NEVER be the Lilly Potter to your James. My parents would want me happy and safe which I am. I have good friends, a better home life, and I am determined to give Hermione a run for her money at being the top witch for our year. Whether I am in Ravenclaw or Slytherin or Hufflepuff or Gryffindor, I will not let a House to define me. I will not let someone who is a jealous bully bring me down nor will I standby and allow for you to bring any of my friends down either." I ranted before turning around and walking away
