Chapter 70: Flowers {30 day challenge}

(So a few people somewhat requested for more of a certain ship a while ago and I guess in honor of Valentine's Day and the fact I'll most likely never fall in love. And don't celebrate it I decided to write this so enjoy!)

Someday over the rainbow there are millions of glowing hearts. And somewhere there are flowers on every shelf, in every hand, on every coloring book, in every shop, on every piece of fabric, and in every planted pot. There are different assortments of them; roses, lilies, tulips, daisies, sunflowers and so many more it's hard to decide which ones are your favorite and which are the prettiest.

With love and care flowers can bloom forever but without it each petal falls and withers away like every heavy heart. Falling for someone so hard and being in love is difficult because you give your all but your all isn't enough. Sad isn't it? Yeah it sucks... granted Peter Parker has only fallen in love with one person in his life her name is Michelle Jones or MJ. Turns out she found someone new and left poor Peter in the dust.

He felt that all hope was lost and he wouldn't fall in love ever again. But it wasn't until a certain blonde haired individual caught his eye and suddenly he couldn't stop thinking about him. This was confusing because Peter has never had a crush on anyone besides MJ much less a boy.

He soon came to the conclusion that he was most definitely a confused bisexual. Peter learned the boy's name was Harley Kenner, he learned Harley loves science, his favorite color is orange, he moved to NYC a few years ago from Rose Hill, Tennessee. He attended a different school in the Manhattan area when he got the internship at Stark Industries.

So after "bumping" into each other multiple times throughout the course of a few months and becoming friends then finally after two years to the teens confessed their liking of one another conveniently a few days before Valentine's Day.

They never celebrated the holiday but Harley & Peter decided to give it a chance. They had a surprise for each other. Peter and Harley both got to their houses opening their doors up seeing a vase of assorted flowers and chocolates on their tables.

"Hey May who are these from?" Peter asked his aunt.

"I don't know but I'm assuming it's for you Pete." She replied. He picked up the card that was attached to his flowers reading the card that said.

Hey Peter, I know we don't celebrate Valentine's Day but we're testing the waters. I hope you like the flowers and chocolates I just want you to know that I love and I always will.

Peter smiled taking the flowers into his room which was clean setting the vase on his desk and setting his box of chocolates beside it. Harley was indeed the sweetest. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Meanwhile with Harley he walked into his kitchen and his eyes landed on the dining room table. His sister Claire entering the room smirking. "Who's this from?" Harley asked.

"From your hottie of a boyfriend lover boy." She said while walking away. Harley saw a card that came with the flowers and opened it reading it.

Hi love, I hope you like the flowers I got your favorite poppies but in different colors! I love you to the moon and back hopefully you love me too. Meet me at my apartment at 5:00pm May will be gone and I was thinking we could spend some time together.

He looked at the time seeing it was a little bit past five he got caught up in the cuteness of his angel that he didn't even realize how much he forgot. He told his mom and sister that he was heading over to Peter's place that was of course after his mom told him to put up his flowers and chocolates.

Soon Harley arrived at Peter's apartment his boyfriend greeting him with a kiss on the cheek. And heading in May had gotten a red velvet Valentine's cake from a certain someone (cough cough Happy cough cough.) and said the boys could have a piece.

They had a chill evening cuddling up and watching movies while also sharing bites of their cake to each other. Once they finished Harley grabbed Peter's hands into his making Peter look up at him.

"I love you Peter Parker." Harley confessed. Yes, they both said the three powerful words but that was on paper saying it out loud to each other held more emotion and feeling. Peter was a shy smiling blushing mess but ultimately said, "I love you too Harley Keener."

Harley pulled Peter into a deep loving kiss bringing his hand to Peter's cheek caressing his cheekbone hearing Peter make a small yet adorable noise making him smile into the kiss. He couldn't express how much he loved this boy if you were to ask him.

Soon they pulled away from each other and went back to watching their movies. They still don't necessarily celebrate Valentine's Day but today made every day that more special. Knowing they had each other. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
