Just in case you're confused Chaerin was born Angel/Demon but she still had a beating heart because her powers weren't activated
If you're human 100% and then drank Demon blood and died you'd turn into a demon
But since Chaerin already had that Angel and Demon running through her- if she died she'd be half So she's half half for life basically
The reason why he bit her was because her wings wouldn't come out unless she stopped being 'human' so he drained her of blood basically

Jisung retracted his fangs from her neck, forcing himself to stop and he caught the girl before she fell.
Blinking away the demonic urges and clenching his fists to stop himself. Jisung looked down at the lifeless girl, he was anxious- what if it didn't work and he killed her? What if he turned her into a Demon? What if-
His thoughts were cut off when Chaerin's eyes opened, laying in his arms as her two different coloured eyes gazed into his.
Jisung let out a sigh of relief, helping the girl sit up disoriented and confused. "Did it work-"
Chaerin gasped when she felt the pressure on her back finally releasing, she couldn't see what was happening but Jisung could as he kneeled in front of her.
His eyes fell on the wings that spurted from her back, blissfully growing until their natural size.
Jisung's eyes widened once he saw them, never having seen anything like it before. "What?" She breathed out, wanting to know why he was so shocked.
Jisung reached out, his fingers brushing against the white feathers but his other hand on the black ones.
She had one white and one black wing.
