♤ Wu Chang x Reader (Part 1) ♤

Y/N's POV

"Fan WuJiu! Xie Bi'an!" You wave your arms above your head. "What are you doing here?" You asked excitedly.

"Y/N." Both brothers turned to you and said in unison. They're so adorable. 

"Are we finally able to hang out again?" You asked hopefully. "It's been forever since we did anything together!"

Xie looked at you apologetically. "Sorry, your father is out running an errand and appointed us to guard the house."

"Hmph. Aren't you guys government officers? Why are you guys stuck here? Such a lame job." 

Fan smiled at you. "It's not that bad. At least you're here."

You've known Fan and Xie since you were a small child. Your father was the governor and used to take you and your brother, Jian Li, to work. You had watched in fascination when you saw two little boys training. Those two little kids became the two boys in front of you. You had to admit, they were handsome. You didn't want to tell them because, well, they look identical and it would be weird if you likes both of them. You couldn't make up your mind who you liked better. Is it wrong to have a crush on two people? You weren't so sure. You hope it wasn't.

 You decide to stay with the two, joking and laughing late into the night until Father finally came home.

"Y/N?" His tired voice called out. "What are you doing so late?"

He turned the corner and saw the three of you. "Thank you, boys. For guarding the house. You two may go home. And Y/N, it's late. You should go in."

Your father decided to give the three of you some space and left.

"It's only 7 p.m. right now." You said. "How is this late?"

Xie shrugged. "You should do as your father says though."

"Alright, bye bye!" You waved at both of them.

As you left, you heard Fan say to Xie. "We still got some time to kill. Let's go to the tavern."

You smiled to yourself. What's up with people and going to the tavern? Jian Li was probably there too. It was your brother's favorite place to go to.

It wasn't long after Xie and Fan left when a knock sounded. Father left to get the door. You curiously follow suit.

A breathless man appeared.

"S-sir, I was told to get here as quickly as I can." The man wheezed. "Y-your son! He's hurt!"

"What? Where?" Father sounded alarm. My heart start beating faster. Jian Li!

"The tavern!"

Father immediately started preparing to leave. "Father! I want to go too. I need to see if Jian Li is okay!"

"No! You're staying here Y/N." Father headed out the door. "It's too dangerous out there." With that, he shut the front door and left you sitting there worrying.

Didn't Xie and Fan go to the cavern? Maybe they know what happened. But Father told you to stay in the house and you didn't want to disobey him.

It seemed like an eternity before Father came home, with Jian Li this time. You stood up. "Jian Li! Are you alright?" You hurried up to your brother. 

He had a few bruises here and there. He had some deep gashes in his arm and legs. He was also limping. 

"W-what happened?" You help him sit down.
