~Chapter Nine~

The car ride was silent.
It wasnt that no one wanted to speek, it was more the fact that no one knew what to say. Y/N was still calming herself off and well the others were scared they were gonna make her even angrier.

Dustin felt bad. His sister has been through a lot, and now hes basically took her on a fight for her life mission.
He was just hoping things were better where mike and Will were.

AT WILL'S PLACE
"Ok so has anyone heard from the others?" Mike asked as he paced around the byers living room, Hopper, Joyce, Will, Eleven, Jonathan and Nancy sat silently watching him.
"No." Will replyed as he took what felt like his 1000 look at the silent radio sitting on the coffee table.
"Well, maybe we should go look for them." Mike suggested.
"Oh oh no we are not. I know you guys are on edge but i am not letting a bunch of teenagers go out into the forest when there are a bunch of freaky freak things on the loose. We'll wait here until they notify us." Hopper stated as he stood up infront of them.
"Plus, Y/N and Steve are with them. I know Y/N, nothing's getting through her." Hopper had now started to pace, he couldnt help but get worried, he had known Y/N since she learned to ride a bike, he knew how tough she could be, he just wanted the kids to come back safe.
"Listen guys, it'll be fine, we just need to stay calm and prepared." Joyce smiled warmly at them, placing herself back on the couch. It was just a waiting game, and they were all the main players.

With the others
It was quiet. They didnt know where they were meant to go. For all they knew, those creatures could be right outside the car doors.
"Can you radio Will and Mike. Let them know we're fine." Y/N said as she turned down yet another street.
"Sure." Dustin answered before he spoke on the walkie. Everyone sat in scilence as Dustin spoke to the radio.
"Hey look, i'm sorry about before. That was a bit of a dick thing for me to do. The party thing and the whole telling you its a bad idea to go after those things. I know you're just trying to look out for your brother and his friends." Steve sighed as the kids sat in the back making up a 'plan'.
"It's fine. I just dont think its right to give up now. I mean, at the beginning yeah, i couldve just turned around and gone home, but we're to far in now." Y/N answered.
"Yeah. its just, what if we're doing the wrong thing. It might be safer to just go back home." Y/N turned her head slightly, taking a confused glance at Steve.
"Im sorry, but did you not just say that going after them was a good thing, that it's protecting my brother and his friends?" By now the kids had started to catch on to the beginning argument.
"Yeah i did but i just dont wanna die before i turn 20."
"Neither do i steve, jesus christ, no one wants to die before they're 20. You know what, change of plan, we're heading to Will's house. YOU can decide from there whether you wanna chicken out or grow up." From there on out the car ride was dead silent, the kids sharing a few glances with each other.

Somewhere in Hawkins
Billy hargrove, Max's step brother, knocked on the Wheeler's door. He had been searching for his 'dear' sister after his dad had a go at him. To say he was a moody guy was an understatement.

Just as he fixed his hair, the door opened up.
"Evening Mrs Wheeler, i was wondering if my little sister, Maxine's her name, was here by any chance? She said shewas going to hang with some of her friends at the arcade but she wasnt there." He asked in his most politeful voice.
"Um no, is she one of Mike's friends?" Mrs Wheeler asked as she raked her eyes over Billy's body.
"Why yes. I was just wondering if they came back here?" He winked.
"No sorry, but you could try the Byers house. That's where most of their little shananigans take place." She giggled.
"Oh thank you, what was the adress, just so i dont get myself lost."
"Oh of course, although a strong looking man like you should be able to handle yourself." She smirked, before telling him the adress.
"Well, men like me can sometimes be surprising. But thank you once again Mrs Wheeler, im grateful." He smirked,  winking once more before turning away and heading to his car.
"Im gonna find those shits."
