The weather was really nice-
The honking of cars, buses passing by, shit load of people walking on the street.
Perfect day for a job interview.
Hint the sarcasm.
Done with observing your surroundings, you turned back to the giant building you were standing in front of.
You could feel yourself shaking from nervousness.
Calm down, Seung Ah. Pretend that it isn't the first interview of your life.
Pretend that you didn't take the risk of applying for one of the biggest companies in the country as soon as you got out of college.
You took a deep breath, straightening your old pair of glasses on your nose as you walked into the building, holding on to your files for dear life.
The reception itself was a sight to behold.
The Kim Group
The huge sign that held the name in classic font shone behind the receptionists' desk.
Great, they even need more than one receptionists.
Little did you know that this wasn't the only floor with a reception.
You went up to one of the receptionists who seemed to be decent enough.
"Excuse me? I'm here for a job interview."
She looked up from the computer, and man, was she pretty.
And her posh attire was a thousand times better than what you were wearing, judging by the way she was eyeing you down.
"You dress too simply for a job interview with The Kim Group." She remarked.
You looked down at your outfit.
A baby blue full-sleeved shirt with beige pants, and flats. Those old glasses and the long bob hair of yours. You couldn't possibly look that bad.
You would've died out of awkwardness and embarrassment if she didn't have that genuine smile on her face.
"But that's not a problem. You'll learn eventually. Ah, and for your interview. Wait a second."
She gave you a smile as she picked up the landline phone, and you smiled back.
Well, not a bad start at all.
She conversed with someone for a few seconds on the phone, and then she turned back to you.
"Park Seung Ah, right?"
You nodded your head.
"You're the only one who has an interview today.
Seventh floor. Just ask anyone for Mr. Kim's office. You're directly being interviewed by the chairman."
Your eyes widened at her words.
She smiled sheepishly.
"Don't worry. He's actually really nice. But the job you might end up with won't-
Ah, anyway, don't worry about that. Best of luck!"
You took a deep breath, forcing a smile and a nod as you walked off to the elevator.
You can..... or might be able to do this. Just don't freak out.
You pushed the button for the elevator, trying to calm your nerves by looking around.
This building is so huge it could probably house the entire population of Seoul.
