Lexi was standing in front of the door, green eyes open and strained. Shortcomings or no, inferior than her or not, she could still do something in her wake. And that something was her blocking Josephine's path. Lexi crossed her arms.

As if she was no more than a pile of dust, Josephine brushed her aside. She started walking to her next class, Lexi pivoting and stalking her hotly. Josephine sighed. "Relax, Lexi, Camillo was just asking for a favor."

Class ended and came like normal, the busy buzz of students ever so familiar in their little school. Gossip had been flowing, students had been staring, and now Josephine had to deal with Lexi. Lexi, and that jealousy of hers.

"You two barely know each other." Lexi said, a flicker of venom in her tone. And envy, loads and loads of envy.

"Nice to see that you question Josephine more than that boy." Serenity hissed from Josephine's left. Lexi promptly ignored it.

"Which is why I wouldn't even give him the time of day." Josephine added. Let her fairy tail fables be damned. She didn't like when little things bothered Lexi, anyway. She could be too childish to deal with when infuriated. Was she a child or a woman? Josephine couldn't tell. "Camillo was feeling generous. He's trying to set up his friend Dante Valencio and was wondering if I'm interested."

Lexi haltered. "Dante? But that's impossible. What are you talking about?"

Strange. Serenity said, "What?"

Lexi continued, her voice yammering with displease. "He hates him. All I heard about him talk about is he can ruin his life."

Josephine's blue eyes flickered a sign of interest. "Did he tell you why he hates him?"

Lexi frowned. "Don't know. All he says it that their family has 'bad blood' between them."

Another useless answer. Nevertheless, "Camillo wants me to start dating him."

Serenity gripped her uniform in surprise, the soft cloth flatting in her grip. "You? Date Dante? Date someone at all?"

Josephine nodded. Lexi blinked. They waited for an explanation. She didn't give them one.

A moment later, Serenity broke the silence. "Isn't Dante with Viola? There's rumors that they fought..." She levied a stern look to Josephine, her mouth quivering. "As there always are, but are you sure they actually ended the relationship—"

Josephine tsked. "The rumors are true. They did fight, and it did end. Camillo confirmed it. And as such," Josephine closed her eyes, imagining herself next to Dante. No, on top of Dante, her presence becoming the dominant to his. He a slave, and her, the master. "I'm going to take her place."

Lexi smiled, wicked and gleeful."Quite the challenge."

Planning. Josephine was planning. Both girls started giggling.

She'd keep her promise to Camillo. And with that she said,"With Viola out of the way, I'd be able to make my league to Dante." She smoothed down a fold of fabric, running long fingers down the shape of her legs. "I'm sure there are certain assets he'd be attracted to." He was a man, after all.

In the ruling of their school, the hallway was brimming with the sound of their heels. Short and clipped, fast and impatient as Josephine made way to a wall of windows opening the hidden tranquility that was the gardens below. And there, sat sweet Viola and her four brothers.

Josephine tipped her head to the side, immediately hating Viola already. The way she smiled to her fellow brothers, dug deep with arms and elbows caked in dirt as she plants marigolds and bluebells into the clay pots.

Josephine wanted to ruin that feeling of perfection. She wanted to ruin their feeling of family. All of it.

Josephine fluttered golden lashes."We have a little pest on the loose, with four fat pigs tending to her every need."

Lexi eyed the boys, but grimaced."Her brothers? Coby? I like Coby." She was talking of the oldest.

Josephine darkened. Weak, such feeble weakness."Not anymore. From now on, their presence is to my demise. And their connection to Viola marks them an enemy. I won't stand for any babies." Her throat gutted, reminding both girls of what was to fall if they backed out once in motion.

Neither said anything. Josephine smiled.

"What do you need?" Serenity said, leveled eyes but on board.

Perfect. "Any dirt there is, I want all of it. And a bit of pushing. Something to rile them. I need to know what exactly makes their blood boil."

To know weakness is to know a person. Josephine understood it clearer than any other.

Lexi smirked, but the amusement was short-lived. "I'll bet you'll enjoy this, but what happens if Viola's brother find out? They're extremely protective. They'd immediately put a stop to whatever you'd be trying to do to their sister."

True, very true. "That why, my sweet Lexi, hungry pigs follow their trail of food. It doesn't matter if it's rotten garbage or high cuisine, food is still food to them. And we do we when we fatten those, juicy little pigs?

Lexi smiled. Serenity giggled.

Josephine said, "We slaughter them."

What do you think Josephine is planning? Do you think her intentions are good or bad?
