"Dante Valencio?"

The name wasn't unfamiliar. She nearly wanted to ask, Virgin boy? But she didn't. Instead a lifted brow was the only sense of confusion Josephine held.

"And if you're going to ask why," Camillo ushered in, leaning forwards to close the gap between them, something else more deadly than sinister in his eyes. "All I can say is that it's a... personal problem."

"Like your head trauma." Josephine breathed. Another useless answer.

"Right. A bit of a nuisance. I guess you could say we have a bit of history." Camillo chuckled darkly. Josephine levied a strange look. "Dante has always been tiring, but it also seems that he is tiring of Viola Bolina."

Viola Bolina was to a family of five, the Bolina family so old and branched out sometimes Josephine could find withered textbooks in school that held the same last name as her. With her four brothers trailing her constantly, brass copper hair, metallic gray eyes, and of strong build, they were large enough intimidate others. And so they did. Viola had happened to be the only female Dante could stand. For more than a few hours, at that.

Of course Josephine had heard that their relationship ended. She had tried this morning and was utterly rejected. But for Camillo to listen to gossip...with so many stories spreading around, why wouldn't this be one of them?

"Poor Viola," Is all Josephine said.

"Poor Dante," Camillo replied.

Camillo looked Josephine over from head to toe. "With Viola distracting Dante daily, all of my personal problems were dealt with. But now that she's not there anymore, most likely Dante will start acting up again. Unless..." Josephine's blood went cold.

Josephine might have started bickering if not for the taste of his ear that she had experienced this morning. She clicked her tongue. "Even if I tried, who's to say he'll want me? It's not just the rumors. They say all his admirers meet no avail. Only Viola could sway him." Josephine remembered the flush of his face. "He blows hot..." She remembered the icy rage in his eyes. "He blows cold..."

Camillo said, "True. But indulge me: you're a smart woman."

Josephine didn't disagree.

"And yet," Camillo waved his hand. "I think you can imagine a few ways to keep him... interested? I can't say that you don't know anything about the passion of males, what with all that army of football players trailing you daily."

"For what? Don't think I'm interested to do this for personable gain." The lie rippled off her throat. Of course she was interested.

"Of course," Camillo nodded in a playful tone. "If you were to meet my requests I would provide you with grades. Assignments. Exams."

Josephine's ears perked up. "Grades?"

"Yes. For as long as Dante is interested in you," He tapped Josephine's chest with a certain dominance. "I'll give you enough materials so that you can finally graduate. You wouldn't have to repeat another year."

Tempting, so very tempting. Another year in high school was a nuisance, and a major downfall on her part. She had gotten quite the stern lecture from her father and a look of displease from mother. As if they ever cared what she did, only when it was an issue to their personal lives. This year was an issue to their lives.

But Josephine wasn't convinced yet. They—She barely knew him. They barely knew each other. Of course there were stories, but this was only a momentary meeting. She had heard gossip of Camillo and his romantic leads, more from Lexi than anyone else, but she didn't trust him. At least the legends had been right about his beauty. Josephine tucked that knowledge away.

"So what?" She huffed. Josephine tipped her head to Camillo in a sort of look of utter amusement. "You want me to take him on dates? Kiss him a little? Butter his ego?"

"Distracted." Camillo said. "I need him distracted."

Josephine tried. "For?..."

"Personal reasons."

Josephine gave up in frustration. True, this deal did sound great, but she wasn't one to try to be with just one person. Let alone date just one person. Men were to be used, girls to be played with. Love was just another variable of a fairy tale fools believed in.

"Why not Lexi?" Josephine taunted, now acknowledging her pawn's intense gaze as it had been throughout class. Throughout their entire conservation. She flickered back to him."Considering the fact that you've made her into your bitch, why not use her?"

"That, darling Josephine," Camillo flirted, his arms strong and muscular as they wrapped around her. "Is because you don't get attached. Am I wrong?"

Josephine didn't say a word. He wasn't.

"Fine." She said, to which Camillo flashed that dangerous smile of his. "You've ... been generous enough with the offer." Josephine tried to sound like she meant it. "When do I start?"

"As soon as possible." Camillo ushered. "Today, if possible."

Josephine swore. Camillo grimaced. She wanted to enjoy her freedoms of singleness for a while more. It ended today.

Rising, Camillo squeezed Josephine's shoulders. He whispered. "One more thing. Very important." His eyes narrowed. "Keep this between us."

There was something in his tone that Josephine knew that his request not up for debate.

The bell rang, and Camillo was the first one out of the door. Smiling, always smiling, but this time to Josephine. He winked at her, and Josephine knew she was damned.

What do think guys think Camillo is planning? Do you think his intentions are sincere?

This is the beginning of the chaos Josephine is about to be thrown in to.
