"I'm sorry, what do you mean "they're missing," Robert?"
"We couldn't find them, sir."
"Clearly. Did you check their rooms?"
"Yes."
"Did you check you check the kitchen?"
"Yes."
"Did you check the library?"
"Yes."
"Did you check the ballroom?"
"Yes."
"Are sure you checked the kitchen?"
"Yes."
"You're positive you checked the library?"
"Yes."
"Check again." He slammed down the clear glass phone, shattering it. He turns around and presses a button, turning on a hologram image of his twin daughters on their first day of school last year. Ollie and Taylor, the inseparable duo. His girls, only 15, now missing. Turning away from the hologram, he searched for the extra glass phone he kept in his desk.
"Send troops A-47 and A-48 to search for Urban and Rural. Note that the troops will be...dealt with if the subjects are not found within forty days. Thank you." Setting down the phone gently, he though to himself, Just calm down, John. Go visit Anita in the hospital, your wife needs you. Just... Don't tell her about the girls...
