Chapter 7

2 weeks later tiffany is sitting down in the living room eating some ice cream and watching some movies. She starts to get a call from jasmine as she pauses the movie and answers it.

"I'm on my way over boo"

"okay"

"make sure you save me some ice cream, i have a lot to talk about"

"sorry, it's all gone" Tiffany turns the camera to the ice cream then back to her and laughs.

"it's fine, you're going through a lot, i'm gonna stop at the store to pick some up"

"okay, i love you"

"i love you too" Jasmine hangs up.

Tiffany plays the movie again then stands throwing the empty carton of ice cream away. She washes the spoon and her hands when there's a knock on the door. She walks to the door looking through the peep hole to see matt standing there.

"ugh" she rolls her eyes "go away matt!"

"tiffany please let me in, i just wanna talk"

"no cause every time we talk things get worse, just go away"

"i'm not going nowhere until you talk to me"

"okay so stay out there" Tiffany walks away from the door and sits back down and continues to watch the movie.

About 6 minutes later the door opens and jasmine walks inside closing and locking the door behind her.

"you do know matt is outside in the hallway right?"

"yeah"

"why?"

"he wants to talk and i don't wanna"

"so you're just gonna leave him sitting there in the hallway?"

"well tell him to go home for me please" Tiffany grabs the icecream and walks into the kitchen.

"why don't you just hear him out?"

"because he ruined my relationship!"

"tiffany" jasmine walks over to her "you know i love you more than anything but this was your fault also"

"i know"

"so quit acting like it's only his fault and talk to him please"

"okay, fine" tiffany rolls her eyes then walks over to the door unlocking it to see matt sitting on the floor.

"come in"

"thank you" he stands walking inside and she closes the door behind him.

"we'll be back" Tiffany walks off into the back room followed by matt "talk"

"so" he closes the door "again, i wanna apologize for the other day, i know an apology doesn't mean anything but i wanna make things right between us"

"that's it?"

"i also wanna apologize for stuff in the past, i'm sorry that i've cheated on you, i don't know what the fuck was wrong with me, i'm so sorry i did that to you and to mason, i really am"

"if you was sorry you wouldn't have done it to me multiple times, do you know how stupid i look claiming you and you're cheating on me with other bitches?"

"i know" he walks over to the bed and sits "i don't know what i can do to make it better"

"there's nothing that you can do, the damage has already been done"

"come sit please"

"why? i'm good standing" tiffany stands near the door with her arms crossed.

"why're you so far away? you're acting like ima hurt you"

"you've already done that, is there anything else you wanna tell me?"

"please come sit"

"okay" she walks over and sits down next to him.

"so me and you can't be cool? or at least on good terms?"

"i don't think we can, i'm not saying you can't come see mason anymore i'm just saying our relationship can never be repaired"

"wow" matt sits there for a while in silence.

"i'm sorry" tiffany stands and starts to walk away when matt grabs her by her wrist pulling her back to him and kissing her.

She quickly pulls away "why would you do that?"

"are you gonna tell me you didn't feel nothing when we kissed? i miss you tiffany, i want you"

"you gotta go"

"please just let - "

"please just go"

"okay" he stands walking out the door as she follows him.

"please just think about it" he opens the front door walking out as she closes and locks the door behind him.

"so tell me what was said" Jasmine sits on the couch eating some icecream.

"he kissed me"

"he what!" jasmine jumps up "how was it? did you like it?"

"that's the bad thing, i liked it"

"how is that a bad thing? you two can finally get back together"

"it's a bad thing because he's cheated on me lots of times so i don't know why i feel like this, i don't wanna get back together with him, he hurt me too many times"

"so all of that talking for nothing?"

"i told him he can come over to see mason and still take mason on the weekends but our relationship is never gonna be repaired" tiffany walks over to the couch and sits.

"so you don't have any feelings for him anymore? you never wanna get back together?"

"no" tiffany looks up at jasmine who is making a face.

"mhm, you know you do"

"let's just sit and watch the movie, i don't wanna talk about him nomore"

"okay fine" jasmine sits and hands the ice cream to tiffany.
