Ash and Serena: Kanto Journey (Pokemon)

Chapter 2: I Choose You!

To the people who don't know.....
Chase(boy) and Elaine(girl) are playable character in Let's Go Series and Trace is their rival.

This chapter is going to be bit longer than previous one, but it won't exceed 4000 words. Don't worry, it will get longer when the story progress.

With that being said, here's the chapter.

It was eleven in the night in Pallet Town and most of the citizens went to sleep. There was no single sound or disturbance. It was peaceful.

However, there was still one light on. It was on the second story window from the bedroom on the two story house. That bedroom belongs to Ash Ketchum. It had been 3 years since the summer camp and he's ten years old right now. Tomorrow would be the day to set out on his Pokémon journey and become the Pokémon Master. He was so excited that he could hardly go to sleep.

He had the television turned on to a Pokémon battle between Gengar and Nidorino. Gengar was a ghost/poison type and was dark purple in color, had a pointy ear, and creepy grin on it's face. Nidorino was a poison type Pokémon and was dark pink which walked on four legs. It also has horn, large ear and sharp poison points on it's back. Each Pokémon belonged to the Elite Four member. Gengar belonged to Agatha, and Nidorino belonged to Bruno.

"Nidorino, use poison sting!" Bruno yelled. It connected to Gengar, but did minimum damage since Gengar was a part poison type.
"Seriously, poison sting!? Use shadow punch!" Agatha yelled. Gengar thrust it's hand into the ground, targeting Nidorino. Then it emerged and threw a heavy shadow punch onto its jaws.

Despite the intensity of the battle, Ash didn't pay attention at all. He was too focused on his journey tomorrow.

He currently was wearing black, short sleeved shirt with a blue jeans. Over the shirt, he wore a blue jacket. He also wore a glove, which was black and had green edging. His favorite was red and white official Pokémon League hat that his mother has given to him. It was a very rare hat. She had sent post cards to claim the hat and luckily she actually won. So Ash always cherished the hat and it was very special to him.

"All right, tomorrow is the day." Ash said to himself. "I'm going to become the Pokémon Master!"

He then picked up an alarm clock in the shape of pokeball and held it in his hand. "I will be the very best, like no one ever was..."

"Ash! Go to bed!" A female yelled at him.

Her name was Delia Ketchum, mother of Ash Ketchum. Sudden appearance of her mother had startled Ash and accidentally threw the alarm clock across the room. Luckily, Delia caught it. Then it revealed mechanical Pidgey.

Ash's mother was in late thirties, had brown eyes and long brown hair.

"Ash, do you know what time is it?!" Delia said to him and she continued, "Tomorrow is the day you start your Pokémon journey. You need to take a good rest." She told him with a hands on her hip.

"I know mom. I'm just excited. I will go to bed very soon, I promise." Ash told her.

"Okay, you have ten more minutes. Then I want to see you in bed wearing pajama." Delia told him with still her hands on her hips. "Meanwhile, why don't you watch something educational." Delia said while she walked over to television and changed the channel. "Fine, mom".
