"What" Latte responded
That was strange Latte was certain that Ibelin and Rondemio would be endgame because he was the crown prince and the Mc usually always ended up with the most powerful and best male lead. Although that did sound like Arwin. She also met the prince first and stories like these always had the mc end up with the first guy the readers met. Well at least almost all the time.
"You want to get to know Arwin better?"
" Well yeah you two are such good friends and I feel a little bit left out when you guys just ignore my presence"
"Oh  I never noticed you felt that way
My  bad but we mostly meet by coincidence and he just hangs around because he has nothing to do" Latte lied but she couldn't exactly tell Ibelin that she knew every interaction that would take place with the fishes
"Oh"
"I'll support you in anyway I can" Latte said

" Thank you Latte that's exactly what a good friend would do" Ibelin responded pleased with Lattes promise
She left after a while and Latte was there left with mixed feelings

It made no logical sense to be feeling like this. Arwin was nothing but a bother he always bugged teased and practically bullied her but then she thought of the Dancing and the comforting and when the times his face was close enough to kiss. Then she thought of all the teasing that came with it and she got upset again. The way his face was almost close enough to kiss only to pull back when Latte closed her eyes accompanied by a light giggle.
There was no way Latte could like a guy like that especially with him not taking her serious and playing around with her.

She eventually went back and forth until she fell asleep hugging the doll he gave her in her arms.

The next couple of days were more or less the same but Latte tried to be more considerate of Ibelin and when Arwin teased her about only eating popcorn instead of retorting she just clung Ibelin and tattled on him which Ibelin would respond with a cute comforting smile . Latte might have been putting some distance from Arwin but this attention from Ibelin wasn't so bad either. She felt childish and spoiled although it didn't give off good response from any of the other guys.

Rondemio and Kenneth were obviously annoyed on how Ibelin was so close to Latte and Arwin was too but something about him was different from the other two

Arwin just increased the teasing and Latte just ignored him and she wouldn't admit but it was kinda fun seeing Arwin all riled up for a change. That's when a new approach occurred.
As Ibelin was comforting her from everything Arwin said, his personality made a shift in tone
" My bad Latte , to be quite honest you're quite cute"

Everyone was shocked but no one was quite as shocked as Latte

Immediately her mind told her that it was a trap and to brush it off but she couldn't help her blood rushing towards her cheeks.

She was undoubtedly defenseless against this form of attack and Arwin knowingly grinned and decided that he would make his own fun from this day. He wouldn't have gone that far if she hadn't ignored him so Latte deserved a little bit of punishment he thought as Latte tried to recompose herself

I honestly didn't think I'd make another chapter but here I am but if someone wants me to continue despite my novice experience then I might but I also might do it even if no one wants me to do whatever
