A/N: Hello! Before reading this I just wanted to say that you know how I didn't want to have a sequel? Well, now I'm thinking about one. This is going to have a bunch of more chapters, but I'm now thinking it would be better to have a sequel, since I'm not having one for my other Kellin Quinn story and my Alex Gaskarth story. Please tell me your thoughts in the comments below and if you guys want a sequel then I will continue to plan it out! Now, read on! :)

The Alternative Press Awards (Part 1 of 2)

Song: We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together covered by The Sweet Apes

"I can't… zip it up…" I breathed out. My band and I were in a hotel room in the hotel next to the venue that gel the awards. Twenty bands were going to be there. Hopefully we could manage to win an award or two.

Even though this seemed like a princess moment, it wasn't. My dress didn't fit, we didn't know what song we were going to perform (and only four other bands get to perform), and we had to be there ten minutes ago.

Blu rushed over to me. "Hold on." she mumbled before forcing the zipper all the way up. She looked beautiful in her dress.

I breathed heavily. "Thanks Blu. I don't know why it doesn't fit. It fit just a few days ago." I explained.

"Maybe it just seemed like it did…" Ian added quietly. Blu and I shot him glares. He put his hands up in defense.

"What if you were…?” Blu whispered to me before looking at my stomach.

What was she implying? "What?" I hissed back.

"Pregnant…" Blu whispered.

At first that seemed stupid, but she was right. What if I was? Could you imagine the baby weight, how big I would get, and how I wouldn't be able to tour? Words got caught in my throat. I couldn't speak.

"Summer, what's wrong?" River asked from the bed. The guys were watching TV and lying on the bed in their "suits". Ian had on black Vans, black skinny jeans, a white V-neck, black suspenders, and a suit jacket. River wore dress shoes, dress pants, and a white button up shirt. The top three buttons weren't buttoned up, the sleeves were rolled up to his elbow, and it wasn't tucked in. Zack actually wore his suit the right way.

I shook my head. "Nothing guys," I said quietly. "Let's go to the awards now. There are 10,000 fans, nineteen other bands, and our manager waiting for us to get their so we can start."

We all checked to make sure we looked good. When we left the room River grabbed his sunglasses and slid them on. It's winter and also 5:00 PM! We all walked next door and were greeted by half the bands and about one forth of the fans. The rest of the bands were inside.

All of the bands/musicians that were here are Sleeping With Sirens, In The Shadows, Pierce The Veil, Black Veil Brides, All Time Low, Falling In Reverse, Of Mice & Men, Paramore, Blink 182, Cassadee Pope and the rest of Hey Monday, Automatic Loveletter, Memphis May Fire, We Are The In Crowd, blessthefall, Lights, Breath Carolina, Bring Me The Horizon, Green Day, and Papa Roach.

I was most excited about the last two. Green Day and Papa Roach. Both bands inspired mine so much. I even had Billie Joe Armstrong's autograph on my acoustic guitar. My first concerts were actually Green Day and Papa Roach. One of my favorite songs of all time is Kick In The Teeth by Papa Roach. Green Day and Papa Roach even get to present awards tonight.

The five bands that get to perform tonight are us, SWS, PTV, ATL, and In The Shadows. First is PTV, then ATL, then ITS, next is us, and finally SWS.

Ronnie from FIR saw us and smiled. "Finally! We can start this thing!" he cheered from the black carpet. Yep, they went all out and even had a black carpet. Oh Alternative Press…

Fans screamed from behind a rope and security guards as I hugged him and the rest of Falling In Reverse. "It's been awhile!" I told Ronnie of the screaming people. He nodded and smiled.

Next to hug was Hailee Dallas and her band In The Shadows. Hailee was one of my best friends and I had missed her. "Hey Hails! I missed you!" I whispered to her while we hugged.

"Right back at you!" she whispered back.

I pulled away and looked her in the eyes. "Have you seen All Time Low yet?"

She shook her head. "Nope. I don't even know if they know I'm here or not. You know how they are, always forgetting stuff."

"Oh. Is SWS inside?" I asked.

She nodded. "Yeah. They are sitting next to PTV and Memphis May Fire. They saved your seats though." she explained.

"Where's Sam?" I asked.

"With Blake's mother. Blake was supposed to watch him tonight but he decided to go fishing and not tell me until this morning." Hailee was mad. I could tell. Blake was really no good for her. I don't know why she doesn't just take Sammie and leave.

I nodded. My band and I walked into the building and walked don't the rows of screaming fans and looked into the five long rows that the bands sat at. I saw Steve wave his hand. We walked over to where him, Trent, SWS, PTV, and MMF sat.

Steve glared at us. "Wow, you guys are actually here. I can't believe you made it." he said rudely.

I laughed, along with the other bands. Blu smirked. "Sorry, we're late." she joked.

"Ohhh! Blu, that was a really bad joke." Zack said loudly as we sat down.

"Yes, yes it was. But it was punny!" she laughed.

I giggled and looked to my right, at Kellin. Steve, Trent, and all of Memphis May Fire sat between us. He pouted playfully at me while no one looked. I sneaked a wink at him before turning to Steve.

"So, you guys know what songs you're gonna play? You only get ten minutes, you know?" Steve reminded us.

I thought for a second before turning to my band and smirking. "Hey guys? I know for our first two songs we are gonna play songs from When And Where, but for our last song can we do that… cover we've been working on?"

They all smirked back at me and nodded. I turned to Steve. "Make sure you film our set. Especially the last song!" I ordered quietly before getting up. I wanted Hailee to perform this song with me. And I know for a fact that she knows the words since she likes Taylor Swift.

"And the third award of the night is for best music video of the year, voted in by the fans!" Billie Joe Armstrong said excitedly into the microphone. "The nominees are King for a Day by Pierce The Veil featuring Kellin Quinn," Fans cheered loudly. They were sure to win. "Roger Rabbit by Sleeping With Sirens," I stand corrected. SWS was sure to win. "Coffin by Black Veil Brides, Good Girls Bad Guys by Falling In Reverse, and When And Where by Sorry We're Late!"

Fans were screaming their lungs off. I could barely hear. "And the winner is," he continued. "When And Where by Sorry We're Late!"

My eyes widened. We all agree that if we won an award for our title track, When And Where, that Zack and Rover would go on stage and get it since they wrote it.

Blu, Ian, and I high fived while they went up.

"Guys, where the rest of our band?" Billie asked with a chuckle, calming down the crowd.

"They were too lazy to get up!" Zack joked.

Everyone laughed. "You know it!" Blu yelled.

"Well, we'd like to thank everyone for voting our video the best. I think that any one of those other bands that were called should have gotten it, but I can't say that I'm sad we won! I'm sorry, try again next year, thank you to all of the fans out there, I'm sorry to the one that are pissed Pierce The Veil didn't win, but our band is very good looking, so… yeah. Thanks. Later!" River said into the mic. We all laughed at his speech, if you could call it that.

They walked back stage to do an interview.

"Okay, the next award is for the best female artist of the year voted by you, the fans. The nominees are Lights, Hayley Williams from Paramore, Hailee Dallas from In The Shadows, Tay Jardine from We Are The In Crowd, Cassadee Pope, Summer James Parker from Sorry We're Late, and Juliet Simms from Automatic Loveletter. Wow, that's a lot of women. Just wait till we say the male's," The crowd laughed. "And the winner is Summer James Parker from Sorry We're Late! Whoa, that's two awards in a row."

My eyes widened again. I really wanted one of the other girls to get it. We were all friends. I know how well they sing. I just… don't get it.

I stood up casually and walked to the stage.

Hailee walked on stage after we finished our second song. The fans cheered for her loudly.

"Are you sure you know the words good?" I asked her in a whisper as Steve handed her a mic. She grinned and nodded.

I nodded back. My band started playing. This one is for KC. A Taylor Swift cover.

"I remember when we broke up the first time.
Saying this is it, I've had enough, 'cause like
We haven't seen each other in a month,
When you, said you, needed space, What?
Then you come around again and say,
Baby, I miss you and I swear I'm gonna change,
Trust me, remember how that lasted for a day!
I say, I hate you, we break up, you call me, I love you!

Oooh, we called it off again last nigh!,
Oooh, this time I'm telling you, I'm telling you!
We are never ever ever getting back together!
We are never ever ever getting back together!
You go talk to your friends talk to my friends talk to me!
But we are never ever ever ever getting back together!

I'm really gonna miss you picking fights,
And me, falling for a screaming that I'm right,
And you, will hide away and find your piece of mind with some Taylor Swift record that's much better than mine!

Oooh you called me up again tonight,
But Oooh, this time I'm telling you, I'm telling you!
We are never ever ever getting back together!
We are never ever ever getting back together!
You go talk to your friends talk to my friends talk to me!
But we are never ever ever ever getting back together!

I used to think that we were forever ever,
And I used to say "never say never."

At this part Zack, Ian, and River all shouted to each other about breaking up and moving "the fuck" on. Then we started singing again.

"We are never ever ever getting back together.
We are never ever ever ever…
Now we are never ever ever!
You go talk to your friends talk to my friends talk to me!
But we are never ever ever ever getting back together!
Oooh, oooh!

You go talk to your friends talk to my friends talk to me!
But we are never ever ever ever getting back together!"

Fans cheered loudly as we finished the song. Hailee grabbed my arm. "Summer, can we talk?" Hailee asked me.

I nodded and we walked off stage. "What is it?" I asked her.

"Alex. Before I went on he saw me walking to the stage. I got on just in time but… Summer, he remembers me. And so do the other guys." Hailee looked like she was sad and guilty. I understood why. She never should have left the people she loved. Now she is in a relationship with a jerk, her parents don't want anything to do with her, her old best friends had gotten big without her be their side, she is only twenty-four and has a five year old boy at home, and she's an emotional wreck about this.

I pulled her into a hug. "Hailee, the best thing you can do about this is talk to Alex and the guys. It's been years, I think it's about time." I told her.

"But… what if they're… mad?" she asked in a whisper.

I gave her a reassuring smile. "They won't be. I promise."

A/N: Hey guys! I hope you liked the chapter. Part 2 will be up ASAP! As for right now, I want to say a few things. One, is the whole Hailee thing with All Time Low confusing? That's because it's tying into another story, my Alex Gaskarth story. You have to read that to understand the whole thing with them!

Two, I have a friend. She has a story. It's about Kellin Quinn. Kellin Quinn is sexy. Anyways, I'm helping her out with the story so I already know, based on what we've worked on, that it's going to kick some serious ass. It's going to be better than nutella, so please please PLEASE check it out! For me? Link in the external link thingy! It's called I Don't Think That They'd Understand.

Three, I've been reading another Kellin Quinn story called You Kill Me and I just love it! You have to read that one two! I'll post a link in the comments!

And finally, I would like six comments on this chapter for the next. But wait! There is a catch! I also want you to check out my other Kellin Quinn story called Never Date The Lead Singer, which will be updated insanely soon! I've just been super stressed lately. I'll also put a link in the comments for this one too!

P.S. That song they sang was an amazing cover of We Are Never Getting Back Together by Taylor Swift. Now, I hate her and her music (sorry to anyone who does but I don't) she's just really self centered! But this cover is pure awesomeness! Song in the side bar by the Sweet Apes! Check the band out too! <3
