The next day during lunch I decided it was the perfect time to ask Jasmine about what happened yesterday.

"Hey... Jas?"

"Mmm?" she looked up from her sandwich.

"I saw you and Josh talking after school yesterday, what was that about? "

"Really? You and Josh never talk, only if you have to" Sophie said taking a bite of her cheese pizza while staring at jasmine with a questioning gaze.

"Guys it's no big deal" Jasmine stated not looking up from her food.

"Well... it looked pretty heated to me" I mumbled looking around for Josh.. I spotted him talking to his friends at their table.

He caught my gaze and smirked, then winked at me and went back to talking with his friends.

I looked around some more until I spotted a certain pair of blue-green eyes who were staring directly at me.

Today he was dressed no different in his white skin tight shirt, black leather jacket, black pants and black boots.

We stared at each other for about 10 seconds until he raised a questioning brow as if to ask why I was staring at him.

I blushed and turned back to my friends. I really wanted to hate him but I just couldn't.  He was just so beautiful  that it was infuriating.

"We were paired to do an assignment in physics and we were arguing about the time and place to meet up to work on the assignment, that's all"

Jasmine stated finally looking up at us.

"Cool"

After a few minutes I saw Aiden get up and stride out of the cafeteria, everyone stared but mostly girls who were longing to have a taste of the fresh, hot apple.

I stared too, how could I not?

And then right then and there I decided to do something stupid and follow him.

Why, you may ask.
Don't even bother because I didn't even know why.

"Guys I'm gonna use the bathroom, I'll be right back" I said to my friends and stalked out of the cafeteria.

After searching for about an hour, I finally found him by the staircase leading to an old abandoned part of the school where nobody uses.

He sat on a step with his back facing the wall and his head leaned back as well.

I stared at him, studying him from his straight nose down to his slender fingers which were hanging from his left knee.

"Are you gonna stand and stare at me for the whole day?" He asked without opening his eyes.

"Umm-I- I uh-" I mumbled trying to find the right words.

"Aren't you gonna tell me to leave? " I asked him.

"Why bother waste my time? Everytime I tell you to leave me alone, you find some way to talk to me" he stated finally opening his eyes.

"I just wanted to say I'm sorry for how I acted yesterday.  I'm just really serious about my grades so yeah..... sorry"

He raised his brows.

"That's cool, I get it"

"Yeah so- I guess I should um- I guess I should leave now" I said turning around to leave.

Until he said one word which made my whole day.
"Stay" he said

"You want me to stay? " I asked.

"Do you see anybody else here?" He rolled his eyes.

So I sat beside him, but not too close to make him think I'm creepy or something.

We sat in silence just thinking. Until he said.

"I'm sorry too, about how I acted when you spoke to me, I guess I just don't really like talking to people. He shrugged.

"It's ok" I said with a small smile.
This was really a step forward.

Even though Aiden had these high walls built up around him.

Maybe..... just maybe in time I could break them down.
