How do I tell a fellow man that I like him. My heart was loud in my chest, I was surprised he hadn't heard it yet.

I swear...

Ba dump. Ba dump. Ba dump.

It felt like it literally was thudding in my ear drums. How do I tell him? His back was away from me. He was staring out at the city. He was plotting most likely. The way his hair blew in the breeze mesmerized me.

He turned around at last, noticing me tensed and staring at me. It's been so long that I've felt this way. I swallowed. This is more nerve racking than it should be.

"Jinko?" He asked. He had the eyes of a murderer, yet for once that didn't bother me. The wind picked up and blew more than the calm breeze. It made his cloak whip behind him. The image made my breath caught in my throat.

My heart was louder now.

BA DUMP. BA DUMP. BA DUMP.

I took a deep breath in and noticed my hands were shaking. I stared him in the eye and sighed. Oh gosh, I'm like a nervous school kid who hasn't even started their project and it's their due date.

"Oi, Jinko, I'm talking to you!" He said and grabbed my tie, pulling me forward. The angry gesture seemed less intimidating than before.

"Jinko!" He taunted. He carried on until my voice finally came out.

"Akutagawa!" I said. He froze, he had stopped talking. His gaze was a mixture of surprise and concern.

"I..."

Spit it out already!

"I.."

You freaking kid! Just do it!

"I..."

"Oi, stop your mumbling and spit it out already!" He snapped. I swallowed and looked at him, determination running through me.

"Akutagawa, I like you!" I shouted. He let go of my tie and stumbled back in surprise.

No.. no don't go!

"Tsk." He replied.
