The Truth (Zane X abused! reader)

Getting to know him

"I'm playing mmos" Zane says. There's awkward silence for a few minutes. "Hey....." I say. "Yeah?" hes says back. I stay silent for a few minutes "why don't you hang out with your family?" I say. He stays silent. "You don't have to say-" I was interrupted "My older brother is the golden child....... and I have to live in his shadow.." he says. There's silence for a few minutes. I watch him play his game for a while. "I know how you feel Zane" I think aloud. "How?" I hear him say. "I said that out lout?!?!" I panic. "Yeahhhh you did why? did you not mean to?" He said. I gulped "Yeah I did, but I didn't, you know." I say confusing him I assume. "I see. But what do you mean by 'I know how you feel'?" Zane says to me but I stay silent. "Y/n? Y/n? Y/N!" Zane yells "Yeah Zane." I gulp "Can you please elaborate on what you mean." "Well, my sibling get all the attention while I'm just in the background. So what I mean is I live in my siblings shadows." I say 

                                                                    ~Time skip~

Zane had walked me back to my house. It was 7:30 when we left. The night sky was so beautiful which is why I wanted to savor it just in case my dad was home, the thought of him being home scared me. we walked slowly as I took in the scenery as we walked, it was great having company even if he was silent. Once we reach my house it was 7:50. 'few just in time too' I think to myself. He walks me to the door and we say our goodbyes. Once I open the door I see mom. 'Oh no, their home' I think silently gulping for what was about to come next. "Hi mom, I'll be in my room if you need me" I say and I walk up stairs. When I walk into my room I see my dad. "I see your back from you business trip" I say. "Are you ready" he says as I see him walk over to my metal bat. I sit on my bed and close my eyes preparing myself for the excruciating pain that I would feel any second but it never came but I did hear the bat swing. I quickly open my eyes to see that Aaron took the hit for me. "Aaron!" I whisper yell. I feel an overwhelming angry rise over me. I grab the bat and say out of pure rage. "WHAT THE HELL!!! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO HIM!!! I CAN UNDERSTAND ME BUT HIM OUT OF ALL PEOPLE WHAT KIND OF FATHER DOES THAT!!! GET OUT OF MY ROOM. NOW." I yell. Apparently Melissa and Mom had went out to do some last minute business trip for an hour so no one knew. I carried Aaron to his room and laid him on his bed. I watch over him for a few minutes then I go back to my room. I don't know how but he wasn't badly injured, which was very surprising considering how bad that bat had hurt me maybe it was because I wasn't as strong as him. Anyways tomorrows monday the day I loved but I hated most. I changed and went to sleep quickly considering it was 8:45.

~Time skip to 5 a.m.~

It was 5 in the morning when I woke up I quickly took a shower and got dressed before my dad could walk into my room. I sat there for a while. 20 minutes passed by and nothing. An hour passed and still no one walked into my room. I got on my phone and started texting Zane since he was online.

Emoboy159: and I see your also awake Kat

I'm awake because I have something to do before school whats your excuse :Kat59

Emoboy159: I couldn't sleep so I decided to play mmos and what things do you have to do at 6 in the morning
