10. Jealous

(Y/N)'s POV:

I sit down on my couch with a novel and a cup of (tea/coffee/etc.) in hand. Millie isn't home, therefore, I get to sit down and read for the rest of the day. It has only been two days since I've seen Campbell and last time was kind of intimate. Kind of. So... spending some time away from him won't be too bad. Will it?

Oh well. I never get days like these, I think to myself as I flip to the page I left off. Then, as if on cue, my phone buzzes. Seriously? I pick it up to find a message from Millie:

🍂🌻 Millie 🌻🍂

Hey... so I'm omw back and
I was wondering if u could run
an errand for me...

Can you get me a coffee?

But the coffee shop near our
dorm has the good coffee
and I'm not driving down
that street 🥺

Ok... but this is the last time.

I groan as I turn off my phone and close my novel, at least I'm decently dressed. All I got to do is brush my hair and brush my teeth.

After I'm finished getting ready i grab my dorm keys off the hook and head to the coffee shop.

Alright, just gotta make this fast and easy, I open the door only to be greeted by Campbell who was sitting at a table. He looked at me with a smirk on his face. He was listening to his Walkman as he was reading a biography about John Lennon. I swear, some people never change. He ruffled his hair. God... HIS HAIR!!!

What am I doing? I came here to get coffee. I walked up to the cash register and asked for a latte to go (Millie's favorite).

"Okay, coming up!"

I sit down at a table to wait for the coffee. I feel hands cover my face.

He removes his hands from my face.

"How did you know it was me," he asked.

"Well for starters, when I first walked in I saw you already sitting down. Second, not to be weird or anything, but I know what you smell like."

"Awe," he said as he wrapped his arms around me. He moved closer to my ear and whispered:

"Did you miss me?" While wrapping his arms around me.

"Campbell stop." I say blushing

He brushed my hair from my face.

"Beautiful," he said and I smiled.

"(Y/n)?" A voice said, that didn't belong to Campbell.

You turned around, "Garrett? What are you doing here?" You ask.

"Well I was hoping to get a latte, but I didn't expect to see you here."
