It wasn't because of the people that shipped us
It wasn't because of your money
Your status
Your story
Your past
Or even your future
It was because of you
When I told you I wanted all with you I wasn't lying
I know they filled your head with wrong ideas of my interest in you
But you know damn right that it's not true
I didn't travel long distance to just play with your heart
I choose you because I do
I care for you
I see the joy in you
I can live for the rest of my life to share eternity with you
I know you heard what they say
That I shouldn't be with you
They don't know about us
I choose your heart
Your happiness
Just open yourself and let me share my life with you
It sounds cheesy
But there's no better way to say it than that
I simply choose you
