Man Named Will

First Date

It was Friday, twenty after six. I was almost done my shift. I just had to sweep the floor, wipe down the tables, and prepare any orders if customers came in. I heard the door open, I turned around and looked to see who it was. It was my coworker Cally, she was here to work next shift. "Hey Cally" I said to her as she closed the door. "Hey Joey, I can finish that if you want. So you can leave for your date" she replied. "Yeah thanks. I just need to make a couple coffees before I go." I said as I handed her the rag and sanitizing spray, then headed behind the counter to make two coffees. I grabbed two large cups and a pot of coffee. I poured the coffee into the cups and put the coffee pot back on the warmer. I added two sugars to each coffee and stirred them with plastic stirring rod.

I grabbed the coffees and headed out the door. "Bye Joey, have fun on your date." Cally yelled out as I was leaving. " Bye Cally, I will" I replied before shutting the door behind me. I walked to the parking lot behind the building and unlocked my car. I drive a Jeep Wrangler. I got in my Jeep and drove to Will's house. When I arrived at Will's I got out of my jeep and walked to his front door. I looked at my phone, it was seven-o-clock on the dot. I rang the door bell, I heard a dog bark. A few seconds later the door swung open, and Will stood in front of me. He was wearing skinny jeans, a V-neck t-shirt, and a jean jacket. He still wore his rabbit ear, ring and the same pair of loafers. He smiled"Right on schedule" he said as he stepped out and shut the door behind him. I smiled back and grabbed his hand leading him towards my Jeep.

We got in the Jeep and drove to the carnival. When we got to the fairgrounds I pulled in to the first available parking spot. I parked just a few spaces away from the entrance. We both got out of the Jeep and walked to the ticket booth at the entrance. I stepped up to the booth first "Can I get two bracelets please" I asked the woman in the booth. "that will be forty dollars please" she replied. I handed her the money, then we both held our wrists in front of her so she could put the bracelets on them. We both said "Thank you" as we walked away.

"so what ride do you want to go on first?" I asked Will. "Well what's your favorite ride?" he asked. "My favorite ride is the scrambler" I replied. "really? that's my favorite ride" he said with a smirk on his face. "I guess the scrambler it is" I said back smiling. I grabbed his hand as we walked towards the ride. The line was short and we were the third couple in line. When the ride before us stopped the ride operator opened the gate. Still holding hands we walked towards the next available seat. After everyone was in their seats the operator walked around making sure the door to every seat was shut and locked. After the seats were secure the operator went back to the operation machine and the ride began.

After the ride was over, we got off our seat and walked to the exit. We then went on the tilt-a-whirl. After the tilt-a-whirl we went on the freak out, and back on the scrambler. It was now ten thirty and the fair closes at eleven. We walked up and down both aisles of booths. Before going on our last ride of the night we stopped at one of the carnival games. It was my favorite one, the one where you test your strength with the big mallet. I slipped the Carny a ten dollar bill so he would let will and I go together. I pulled Will up to the meter with me, and I picked up the mallet. After I picked up the mallet I had Will wrap his arms around me and grip the handle with me. Together we both swung the mallet up and then back down hitting the bottom of the meter. The bottom went straight up, right to the top, and the bell rang "Ding-Ding-Ding!". "Looks like we have a winner" the Carny said as he turned to grab a big stuffed bear. He passed the bear to Will and I after we put the mallet down. "Thank you" we both said in unison.

After we got our prize we walked over to our last ride of the night. We walked to the end of the aisles where a large Ferris wheel stood, our bodies connected by the big teddy bear between us. The Ferris wheel was all lit up with bright lights. It looked really pretty, the lights reflecting on the ocean behind it. We were next in line to get on. When the Ferris wheel stopped we stepped up and got in our trolley and closed the gate. The trolley was round, we sat across from each other with the teddy bear beside us. The ride began to go around, and we began to go up. As the ride went on around and around Will and I held hands. "What a relaxing way to end the day" Will said with a smile on his face. I smiled and said "It really is, I had a nice night with you Will". He smiled wider "Me too" he said. At the same time we both began to lean forward towards each other, closing our eyes and getting closer and closer. Our lips touched, we kissed. His lips were so soft, and he didn't hesitate to take things in his own hands. He slowly slid his tongue in my mouth between my slightly parted lips. My face began to feel warm as it was turning pink, I was blushing, and I began to smile.

The Ferris wheel came to a stop as eleven-o-clock had rolled around. We got off the ride and walked back to the Jeep. I drove Will home, and walked him to his front door. I gave him another kiss before saying goodnight, getting back in my Jeep and driving home.

Its been a little while since I've posted a part, so I decided to make this part a little longer than usual. Hope you liked it.
