"Hey y/n are you ok???" Mai said as she looked at my eye. "Yeah im fine. Just a scratch from Mesume's fake nails" midori wrapped me in a big hug. "You were so awesome out th ere!" She said smiling. Umeji was laying on the door frame with his arms crossed. He didnt have his black coat on..he just had his usual yellow t shirt and the bandages on his arms. "Let me see your eye pinky" umeji said. I got up out of the bed and walked towards him, removing the eye patch from my left eye. It revealed a scar across the eye. Just like his.

Umeji blushed. "Ew you look stupid" he scoffed and turned away. 'What kind of insult was that?!' Y/n rolled her eyes and cuddled back onto the nurse's bed. "Hey y/n, just making sure..your 17 right?" I kept my eyes closed. I replied with a hum. "Okay! Thanks thats all i needed to know!" She said clapping her hands. "Ill be right back!" She said as she dragged umeji out of the nurses office. "What was that all about?" Umeji said as he starred at mai. "Well i wanted to know if you have a crush on y/n." Umeji blushed and looked away. "No..why would i have a crush on that midget?" He scoffed. Mai rolled her eyes. "Doesnt matter. What kind of styles are you into?" Mai said smiling. "Punky i guess..." he replied. "Why?" He said looking down at her. "Oh nothing!" She said as she skipped bsck into the office.

Mai texted midori. She nodded and went up to y/n. "Y/N! WERE GOING HOME EARLY!!!!" She hollered. "HUH?! WAT?!?!" She sprang up. "Hurry up we dont have much time!" Mai said. Midori dragged y/n out of the office. "Look for a text message at around 4:30" mai said and followed midori. Umeji rolled his eyes and left.

(At Mai's House)

"Is this really necessary guys?" I asked. Mai was brushing my hair. Kuudere was reading a book. Midori was texting on her phone. "Well of course it is!" Its a blind date if course. And don't worry. Its with someone i know. I would never send you out with a random guy" mai said. "Phew" i said. "Well i trust you so this better not be a joke." I said pouting at her. "It wont i promise! Meet him at the park" i waved by and headed out the door towards the near by park.

Umeji POV:

My phone vibrated. I looked at it and got a text saying: "shes comming" i rolled my eyes and leaned on a light pole. Looking at my phone, when i heard footsteps. I looked up to see......... her......

Y/N POV:

I looked down. I was so nervous. I looked up to see....Umeji? " a huge blush tinted my face. "W-why are you here umeji?" I said as i looked up at him. "U-hm...same reason your here i guess.." he mumbled. 'Wow...ive never seen him so calm before.'

I remember before he would be pushing people around and yelling at others. But...i guess he has a soft spot. "A-anyway...lets just get this over with...follow me" Umeji led me to a luxurious resteraunt. We sat down and chatted for what felt like hours. It was...nice...he made some jokes which actually made me laugh. Then we went to an arcade and he won me a huge teddy bear. After that, we met back at the park again and we walked home. "It was nice hanging out with you y/n" he said. I looked up at him. Soon, it started to rain. "Oh no...i didnt being my umbrella.." i mumbled. "Hey pretty lady" a guy who looked like he was in his 40's said. Umeji growled. "He held me in a hug and glared at rhe man. I blushed. The man growled and walked away.

It started to rain more at this point. Umeji led me into a near by play ground where we sat underneath the ladybug tunnel. I shivered. Umeji sat next to me. Looking outside waiting for the rain to stop. Indidnt relise how close our faces were when my cheek accidentally brushed up against his. "S-sorry" i stammered. I looked down trying to hide my blush. Umeji smirked. He gently held my chin up. "You know...ever since i met you i felt a little bit happier than i was before." My eyes twinkled. His eyes looked deeply into mine. I blushed. "So have you..but are you ok with- mmph! At that moment. Umeji's soft lips connected with mine. The kiss was passionate and short. So many emotions ran through my mind after that happened.

I blushed. And covered my head with my hood. Umeji's hand interlocked with mine. Eventually the rain stopped and the sun came out again. We crawled out of the lady bug tunnel. My phone buzzed. "Hold on umeji...gotta take this call."

My hand felt cold after i separated it from his. I walked a few feet away from him and anwsered the call. "What do you want?" I asked bitterly. "Dont give me that talk you bitch. You better come home right now" my hands clenched into fists. "No! Im not going home with a pig like you!" I yelled into the phone and hug up. I walked back to umeji. "Hey...um...can i crash at your place for a few weeks...?" He looked up at me. "Yeah of course. Lets go" he said and we walked towards his house.
