Chapter 101

I thought I was dreaming but when I felt someone shake me, I knew it was real life. I turned over on my back with my eyes still closed.

"I'm about to leave," Blake said, "I'll be back soon."

My eyes fluttered open and I saw my beautiful boyfriend sitting next to me.

"Where are you going?" I asked, pouting a little.

"To work out with DJ & Sasha," he chuckled.

"No, don't go," I said, grabbing his hand.

I pulled him toward me and he smelled like Old Spice and peppermint gum. I just wanted to stay here and cuddle with him all day.

"I already told them I'd be there since I wasn't there yesterday," he said, placing kisses all over my cheek.

"Do you have to?" I pouted again as I wrapped my arms around his neck.

"Yes," he chuckled, "but I won't be too long."

He pecked my lips over & over, making me giggle. It's amazing how he's making me feel like that giddy little girl again.

"You promise?" I asked onto his lips.

"I promise."

He gave me one last deep kiss before getting up.

"I'll see you later," he said when he got to the door.

"Okay," I said biting my lip.

When I heard the front door close, I went back to sleep but then I remembered I told my mom I was coming home.

I lazily got out the bed and trudged to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. After I took a shower, I got dressed and went to my house, since I haven't officially moved back in with Blake.

After I finished packing, I went to the airport. I didn't tell anyone I was going because I was so worried about how my parents are gonna react when I tell them why I was in the hospital.

I didn't stay out too long since I told Bri I wouldn't. I just wanted to spend the day with her anyway.

When I got home, I went upstairs to the bedroom, assuming she was still there but she wasn't. She wasn't in the bathroom, the living room, the den or the backyard. She didn't text me or call me or even leave a note saying where she'd be, so I called her.

I called her about five times, but she didn't answer.

Not this shit again.

A bunch of terrible scenarios played in my head as I thought about where she could possibly be.

What if she got kidnapped? What if she's lyin' in a ditch somewhere? What if she's in the hospital again? Shit!

I decided to call her again, but she still won't answer. It got to the point where I just started calling people to see if they knew where she was, but no one knew.

Where the fuck is my girlfriend?

When I got to my parents' house, they were sitting outside which only made me nervous. I got out the car and they stared me down until I got on the porch.

"Get in the house," my mom said sternly.

"Yes ma'am..."

I went in the house and straight to the den, avoiding all eye contact with my parents.
