(Tenshi's POV)
The god of thunder looks down at me, a smile clear on his face.
"You're welcome, my Lady."
I shake my head. "Please. Call me Tenshi. I think we're past formality, at least in my case."
His grin widens. "Well then. You may call me Thor."
A soft laugh escapes my lips. "Pleased to meet you properly, Thor."
Thor gives a playful bow. "The pleasure is mine. Shall I escort you inside?"
I laugh again, louder this time. It appears I've found a friend.
"It would be an honor," I tease back.
Thor offers his arm, which I take, secretly feeling ridiculous because his elbow is so close to my head. Darn my short stature! I allow Thor to walk me to the elevator, and off again in the common room. Standing in the middle of the room are all of the Avengers, with grim expressions on all of their faces. Mr. Stark is in the front, his eyebrows tented with worry.
"Ah, Pointbreak, Songbird. How nice of you to join us."
Songbird? Is this because of my musical ability? And isn't that what Loki called me? How did he know?
"You're probably wondering what's going on. Don't worry, it's not what you think it is. It's a lot worse. We're going to have a visitor in a few minutes. And Tenshi, you're not going to like him."
"Why? Who is he?"
"Director Nick Fury of S.H.I.E.L.D."
