I see faces where there shouldn't be

They stare at me

From the wall

Into my soul

On the floor

In the water

Upon the furniture

I see them everywhere

I close my eyes and they're still there

They leer at me

Some dark promise

In their gaze

Even if I scratch my eyes out

They will be there

Because not only are they there

They are in my head
