Hayley strode through the halls of Beacon Hills High, head down and quietly. Being the new kid always sucked, but for Hayley, it was ten times worse. She was shy and socially awkward. Anything that came out of her mouth was total word vomit. Hayley made a promise to herself before she left for school earlier this morning. She promised that she would attempt to make a friend. So she lifted her head and decided to talk to the first person she saw. As her eyes scanned the hall, they landed on a cute boy with brown locks.
The boy made eye contact with Hayley and she bit her lip. She had no choice but to go over and introduce herself. So that's what she did. She walked over to him and opened her mouth to speak. All that came out of her mouth was a weak hi. Liam raises his eyebrow slightly causing blood to rush to Hayley's cheeks, turning them a soft rosy color.
"Are you new?" Liam finally asked.
"I uhm yeah. New I am," Hayley replied, hugging her binder to her chest and mentally cursing at herself for sounding like Yoda.
"Cool. Do you normally speak like Yoda?" He asked, laughing a bit so she didn't feel too embarrassed.
"No," she answered simply, nervously laughing. "I uhm...I suck at talking?" It sounded more like a question than a statement but she smiled it off.
"No worries," he replied.
Lucky for both of them, the bell rang at that moment. Hayley gave a soft parting smile and rushed off to her next class. That was enough embarrassment for one day. Maybe later at lunch, she would try to talk to him again. That was if she could find him at lunch. There was a good chance that he could be hiding from her later on. Hayley needed to clear her mind from all of the negative thoughts she was having. There was no need to worry. Liam didn't show any signs of being annoyed with her.
Liam walked down the hall with Mason by his side. Liam was a little thrown off by the new girl talking to him. If he was being quite honest with himself, he found her to be cute. She had curly dark brown hair and a cute smile. He was hoping to see her later on at lunch. Maybe he would accidentally run into in the halls again.
"Dude, you're like majorly red right now," Mason said, snapping Liam out of his thoughts. Liam looked over at his best friend and rose his eyebrow slightly. Was he really red? Did his thought make him blush somehow? He usually never turned red in the halls of BHHS.
"I'm fine," Liam replied, adjusting his bag and walking towards his first-hour class. And with that, the bell rang. It would be the end of all this weirdness for now.

After first hour was over, Hayley went up to her locker. She was already bored to death by the endless amount of talking the teacher did. She never was too fond of history anyways. Since it was Government class this year it was super boring. Hayley hates everything about politics and how the government ran. There was nothing she could really do except just deal with it.
As Hayley pulled open her locker, a girl approached. She wore her bright blonde curls in a bun, completed with a bow. She reminded Hayley of a 2-year-old ballerina. It was rather adorable.
"Hello there. I'm Trisha Bock. I was supposed to give you a tour an hour ago but I got here late. Anyways, I am instructed to give you the tour right now," the girl, Trisha, replied. Hayley just threw a small smile in her direction.
"Okay," Hayley replied. She quickly switched out her books before closing the locker and locking it. Trisha smiles even more and began walking. Hayley made sure to stay a close enough distance so she wouldn't get lost.
"Okay. So you're Hayley, right? All they gave me was your name and your class schedule," Trisha says as she dodges people left and right. Hayley noticed how Trisha walked. It was like she had a pep in every step she took. She had to be one of those girls who had over flooded confidence. Or maybe she was trying to be one of those girls. Hayley was usually good at determining people just by the way they walk. There was a lot to look for.
