At least I got to trip a kid.

I sat at my desk, finishing the editing on a video, so I could post it when I got home from school. Speaking of school, me and my sister moved  two years ago, and haven't been in school since. So, we are going to our new school today. "Zaphyr?" I spun in my chair. It was my sister, Lapis. "Morning." I said. She sighed, got up, sat in her chair, and pushed over to me. "Editing?" She asked. I nodded. We both have VidTube channels. Mine is Zaphyr's Everything Channel, and her's is That Lapis Girl. I do cooking videos, DIY videos, home vlogs, challenges, all that. Sometimes I record me going for drives or walks, and just filming me talking to myself.  She does art videos, and challenges.
We both jumped, as our alarms went off. "Well, let's not expose our fame too soon." I said, hitting save on my video editing software. She laughed. "My subscriber count can't hold a candle to yours." She said. I shrugged. "Still." I got dressed, and went down for breakfast. Our parents died awhile ago. So.. Yeah, we live on our own. But, we didn't stay upset for too long. We got our lives together. Plus, it meant more room for our pets. I have five cats, and Lapis has four dogs, one is newly pregnant. We agreed to have an even amount of pets, but since I said I was going to get a new kitten, she insisted she got to keep two of the puppies. She'd give the rest to good homes. Sure, that sounds like alot of animals, but we have an extra room, along with a walk-in closet that was closed off before. So, my cats have the closet, which is bigger than you think, and her dogs have the extra room. I set up the closet with cat towers, toys, food, litter boxes, all that. And my cats all came from the same litter, so they get along really well.

I made breakfast, and we fed our fur babies. Then, we went out the door, where we walked two blocks to the bus stop. Lapis was really nervous. "Hey, it'll be okay." I assured her. She shook her head. "I'm a really awkward person when it comes to this kind of thing.. They'll make fun of me." She said. "Here, I have something that'll make ya feel better." I dug around in my bag. "Zaph, if this is some kind of medication, I'm not talking it." She said. I laughed. "No. It's a bracelet. I made it." I gave it to her. "Oh..! Oh wow, Zaph, this is amazing." She said. I smiled. "I have one too." I raised my wrist. (It's a rainbow paracord bracelet) "Thanks." She smiled, and clipped it on. I nodded. "I had a little extra from the shop, so, I decided to make it." I said. She nodded. "How is it going?" She asked. I shrugged. "Business is a little slow today, but it's the morning, I'm sure it'll pick up." I said. She nodded. I own a little store that me and Lapis work at. Our online store does much better. The whole process with literally buying the space was hard. But, it's all ours, no rent, and the only thing we have to pay is our bills. But yeah. We sell hand-made soaps, bracelets, necklaces, shirts, all that. We also sell things to make the bracelets. We're basically a craft store, but with all kinds of self-care products. Our work schedule is (during the week), walk to the shop from school, get ready, open, I work until 10 p.m on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, Lapis works until 8 p.m on Tuesday and Thursday. And despite only one person being there every day, we are fast and efficient workers, so we have big business, and regular customers for our online shop.

The bus got there, and we got on. We were the last stop, so we had to sit in the back. I didn't care. At least, until someone tripped Lapis while we were walking. Protective big sister mode activated as I caught her. "Apologize." I said. The boy laughed. "Uh. No." He said. I glared at him. "Zaphyr, it's okay, come on." Lapis dragged me to the back of the bus. I sat down and huffed. "You already know I'm going to trip him later." I mumbled. She laughed and nodded. "I know." She said. I glared at the back of the boy's head. "You know, just because you're two years older than me doesn't mean you have to protect me all the time." She nudged me. "I know you can take care of yourself. But, when your guard is down, I have to make sure you don't get hurt." I said. She laid her head on my shoulder. "God, you're so protective." She laughed. I chuckled. "Love you." She said. "Love you too." I ruffled her hair.

I waited outside the bus for the kid to get off. When I saw him coming, I lifted my foot, and tripped him. He fell onto the pavement. I stood with Lapis, who was trying her best not to laugh. "You.." The boy got up, and grabbed my collar. "Do you know who I am?" He growled at me. I shrugged. "No, but I don't care either." I said. "Don't mess with me. This, is my school." He jabbed a finger at the building. "I don't care. But, I work in mysterious ways," I grabbed his arm and twisted it behind him, making him yell in surprise. "So does the internet. Information travels fast. Mess with me, my sister, or any innocent ever again, and I can destroy your online life in a second." I released him and smiled innocently. Lapis chuckled and smacked my shoulder as the kid growled and left. "What have I said about using your online popularity to bother people?" She asked. I shrugged. "I warned him is all. But, it's not my fault if I just so happen to say something about him and my whole 6.4 billion subscriber count goes after him." I shrugged. She chuckled. "Come on, schools about to start." I gestured to her, walking again. "Ugh, new school." She groaned. "Oh hush, it'll be fine." I nudged her. "Well, your day might not be fine, mine will." She stood taller. I sighed and shrugged. "At least I got to trip a kid."
