{9:55 pm} +=+ ''"DEZERAE, YOU NEED TO CALM down!" the doctor explains to me as he grabs something and straps it around my arm.

"Wha-what the fuck is going on?" I ask in a breathless, worried tone as I frantically examine my surroundings.

"Ma'am, these horrible pains you have been [are] feeling in your lower abdomen are labor pains. You've been in labor for the past sixty plus hours."

After the nurse announces that, I swear everything around me stops and I choke on my spit. "Wait, what?!"'' +=+

I gasp, startled awake. "Huh!"

"What's wrong?" I hear three male voices ask beside me. Then someone softly starts caressing my cheek with their thumb. I shiver slightly before I snap my eyes over to the culprit. It only takes me a few seconds to become aware of my husband being the culprit. 'Wait, when did he get home?!' I think. I grip my pounding heart as I start collecting deep breaths. "Fuck, that was scary," I mutter.

"What was scary, baby?" Kaiden asks in a concerned tone beside me.

I shake my head as I dismiss it with my hand. "It's nothing," I whisper.

He nods as he faintly caresses my cheek with his thumb.

Inhaling a deep breath, I exhale it as I turn my undivided attention to my hubby. "Kaiden," I mutter, beaming at him. "What are you doing home?"

He makes use of his other hand and rubs the back of his neck apprehensively. "Um, well, Aiden called me and told me I needed to get home promptly. He didn't say the reason why, but I figured it was something serious since he said I needed to get home promptly," he answers, brushing my side bangs to the side. "Are you ok now? How long have you been passed out? What'd you pass out from?"

"She fainted apparently and that's what she was passed out from," I hear Trent answer for me. "She was passed out for a couple hours and then woke up and used the bathroom and got something to eat, but then she fell asleep again and obviously woke back up a few minutes ago."

"Yo-you fainted?" Kaiden asks in a unsteady tone that sounded distraught. "You didn't hit your he-head or any-anything like that when you fainted, right?"

I open my mouth to go and answer, but Aiden beats me to it. "No," he answers for me. "I caught her right before her head hit the bed frame or floor."

Kaiden breathes out a relieved, satisfied breath as he beams down at me. "Well, I'm happy that it wasn't anything serious and that you're ok," he acknowledges.

{10:07 pm} Grinning cheerfully at him, I toss the blanket off myself and crawl into his lap. "I'm sorry about earlier," I point out in a remorse, apologetic tone as I graze his cheek softly with my thumb. "It was, like, totally, wrong of me to make assumption like that up about you."

"No hard feelings, babe," he hums. "I'm sorry I stormed out like I did earlier. I mean, hey, we're a married couple now and we will have plenty more heated arguments like that and I need to learn to not storm off like that every single time we get into a heated argument like that."

I giggle as I lean forward and lightly press my lips against his. "Mm," he moans against my lips.

"A warning would have been nice before my virgin eyes were exposed to this!" Aiden cries out playfully as he shields his eyes and hastily departures the room.

Kaiden snickers as he draws away from me and shouts, "Yeah, because you're totally still a virgin," to his brother.

In response, we hear Aiden laugh.
