"Yah enough, If you want to move on you have to get your mind off of him" Haechan says as he drags me by my wrist to the skating rink.
"Why skating out of all things we could've done" I say rolling my eyes as we enter.
"Look at all the couples!! I wish I had someone to skate with.. but fate brought me to you"
I hit Haechan on the arm and he holds his hands up in defense.
"Okay okay, I'll go get our skates you do whatever you want to do~"
I sigh. "Okay I guess" I end up walking around the rink just to take my mind off of Taeyong.
Just my luck. The whole gang is here. On a Thursday.
I stop in my tracks and observe carefully without being seen.
Doyoung and Jungwoo were eating and messing around while Yuta and Winwin were playing a game on their phones.
Jaehyun and Mark were throwing fries at eachother and laughing.
Johnny was talking to someone on the phone telling them to shut up because it was about "business".
Taeil was trying to calm everyone down but was still messing around.
And last but not least, Taeyong. With his arm around his new girlfriend.
She was feeding him and making faces at him while he was laughing and kissing her cheek.
I stay silent for a while as I hear my name being called.
" YAH KIM Y/N I SWEAR IF YOU RAN OFF IM GOING TO- oh. "
I hear Haechan say as he walks up right behind me. Trying to look at what I was looking at.
"Hey let's just forget they're here I doubt they'll even talk to you"
He whispers handing me my skates.
I nod as I begin to walk off trying to hold back my tears. I couldn't let Haechan down, he wanted to help me and I can't turn it down.
I put on my skates and go onto the rink.
Suddenly, the lights go off and neon lights turn on colorful lights start dancing everywhere as everyone screamed and laughed and kept going.
I skate for a while as I feel someone's hands on my waist.
"Hey."
I look up and see who was talking to me.
Of course, Mark.
I let out a breath of relief. Thank god it was him and not another member. I wouldn't be able to speak if it wasn't him.
"H-hi Mark" I say. I suddenly remember what I told him last night. That I was sick.
"I thought you were sick." He says laughing a little giving me his charming smile.
"Well I thought I was." I say putting my hands on his hands skating faster.
"Don't make me fall Y/N!" Mark says gripping onto my hands tighter as I give him a small smile.
"Keep up slow poke!!"
We skate longer and it was all joy and laughter. I haven't felt this good in a long time.
I end up getting tired as I skate off and sit down. Mark sits next to me.
"Don't worry, I know you probably don't want to talk to the guys right now so I'll try to protect you if they see you." He says.
"Didn't think I'd see you ever since you and Taeyong broke up" I hear a female say.
I stand up as she walks towards me with Taeyong and the guys.
"Never thought I'd see such an attention seeker standing in front of me" I say back. Balling up my fist.
"Don't say that to her" Taeyong says as he stands in front of her.
"Like I care what you say you lying piece of SH-"
"Hey hey hey" I hear Haechan say grabbing my arm.
"Let go" I demand pulling my arm back.
"And don't you ever, EVER think you can talk to me like that ever since what you did." I push Taeyong as Mark pulls me back.
"Haechan where have you been? We haven't seen you in a while" Johnny says concerned.
"None of your business you liar"
I turn my head. "Liar..?"
He sighs. "I guess it's time to tell you now"
"Don't you DARE Haechan!" Taeyong yells as he runs towards him but gets pulled back by doyoung.
"You told me you'd protect her.. you told me you'd keep her safe..you lied to me."
Haechan started breathing harder.
" Y/N.. they never cared for you. They only wanted to get close to you so they could hurt you more"
"W-what? Haechan I don't understand what you're saying-"
"These guys, they just wanted to use you to have fun, mess around with your feelings, pretend like they care."
"THATS NOT TRUE!!" Jungwoo yells causing everyone to stare at us and take videos.
"Oh yeah.. explain this" Haechan pulls out his phone and goes into a voice recording and hits play.
"She's gonna be a fun one"
"A little feisty..I think I like it"
"She's mine, I'm good at acting like I care so let me be the one to catch her"
"Taeyong.." I start tearing up.
"We can't let anyone know about this..we're only doing this for fun."
"Yeahhh I can't wait to see the look on her face when you break her heart Taeyong."
"Yeah me too"
The audio stops after everyone is heard laughing.
I can hear everyones gasps as they're surprised to see Nct.
"Bastard." was all I could say.
"So that's why you never cared to even check up on me..you promised you me you felt the same."
"They knew how much I cared yet they didn't give a single shit"
Haechan makes fists ball up as I grab his arm and give Mark a disgusted look.
"Let's see how the world reacts" I say as I run out with Haechan covering my face.
