Chapter 10- Full Circle

Well... This is it... the end of book 1 of my lieutenant Marvel series... a small little idea i had after seeing Captain Marvel. Thank you all so much for this opportunity to write this, thanks to my fellow authors who have been on this journey with me from the very start. Thank you to all you guys for giving me the inspiration to continue this book, to which i believed wouldn't get far off the ground, the compliments you've all given, the idea's that you've passed onto me, unlike some other authors, I actually read your comments. Thank you all for this. I wouldn't have been able to finish this book, if it weren't for my friend and fellow author RoninSamurai9. Thank you to head_biter for helping me expand my character into not only your book but my book, also thanks for letting me use Ash Branwen for the upcoming lieutenant Marvel book, scheduled to release in February, and trust me when i say, its gonna be a show stopper. Thanks for your continued support everyone. I hope you all will continue this journey with me as i bring you into Far from home, and if you didn't catch on before, all books i make after this book is finished will be interconnected just like the MCU, and for lieutenant, there will be four books for his series! 4 books! "Quickly! Out of the way!" yelled Shu'rri pushing past with a injured Y/n, Strange on his left pushing the other side of the floating stretcher.

"You!" he called over to another Doctor. The doctor ran over, a clipboard in hand. "I want this man in ICU, and I want him prepped for surgery!" The doctor nodded and walked away to get the necessary preparations done. Soon, the other Avengers soon appeared, Carol, Peter, Wanda and Cap at the front, following close behind. "Ms. Danvers..." Carol looked at Strange as he stopped to block the Avengers path. "I'm afraid this is as far as you can go."

"What do you mean?! He's my son?!" she protested.

"Yes, and we're prepping him for surgery, and we can't have you in the way, now take a seat, and we'll be out shortly with news of your son." Strange then disappeared with Shu'rri and his ex Christine Palmer who he brought in from New York. Strange stopped her before the two entered the surgery room. "Christine... Thank you..." She nodded and disappeared into the room with Strange leaving the Avengers to wait. Carol sat down, tears in her eyes as her mind raced, going through what happened in the past hour. Pete put his hand on her back, causing her to jump slightly. She then looked at the young hero worryingly.

"Don't worry Ms. Danvers," he said. "Your son is going to be just fine." Carol then glared at him.

"How do you know that?! HUH!? How do YOU know he's going to be fine? You don't even know him? Do you have any idea what it's like to lose everything?!" She yelled scaring the young hero and shocking the others in the room. Peter then looked down in shame, making Carol realize what she just said.
