'I told you I'm fine' I stropped to my bestfriend and boyfriend as we sat in the living room

'Well we don't believe you' shekinah retorted

The doctors called my name and we all went into the room.

'So I've seen everything from your previous visit, is there any additional things worth noting?' The doctor asked as we sat at his computer

'No' I said and before I could continue Niko butted in

'She struggles to do daily tasks, she gets bad cramps in her stomach and shooting pains down her legs' he said

'That is slight cause for concern' the doctor hummed 'do you want to jump on that bed and we'll do a scan to see what's going on in there'

I did as he said as kinah and Niko sat on the chairs.

'So there's your baby' the doctor pointed at the screen 'everything looks pretty normal, which is so strange'

'So I'm fine?' I asked 'I can go now?'

'We'd like to do some more tests' the doctor frowned a bit at the screen 'If you go and wait in the waiting room someone will call you in'

...

'Yeah we just got out of the hospital' Niko said down the phone as shekinah bought us back to the daycare as it was pickup time 'nah, they said everything looks fine on the system but they took blood tests and stuff so we need to wait for those results'

'Who is it?' I mimed to him making a phone gesture with my hand

'Kenny' he mimed back before continuing his conversation 'yeah I know fucking useless but I just hope these tests tell us something'

'Me too' I whispered to myself though shekinah heard and reached over to rub my arm comfortingly
