While yes, it's obvious this is not the update you've all oh so patiently been waiting for...
I feel the need to shed some light...
I've had an incredibly hard few months. While usually writing is my escape, sometimes lately it has not been.
Cowgirl Up Three and Moving Through The Waves are NOT forgotten and I WILL complete them.
But 2 days ago I had to rush my 13 year old Border Collie, Ace, to the emergency Vet (on a Sunday) and while we held hopes that his condition was because of snake bite, the prognosis wasn't looking good at all... Blood tests came back clear of snake bite or any other type of poisoning. So the Vet's suspicions were confirmed... It was a Brain Lesion. While I'd opted to have him stay overnight at the Vet's, on fluids, when the blood tests came back confirming our fear's... I had to head straight back to the Vet, my heart shattered to pieces, and hold my Baby (I don't have Kid's, my Dog and my Horse are literally my Children) as he passed away 😭💔😭💔😭💔
I hope you can understand that while I promise I'm not leaving the book's at a dead end, I am so torn apart at the moment that 'devastated' doesn't even begin to describe it.
