Chapter 1

~Minji's POV~

"As expected, you got the highest score again, Son Minji, congratulations!" The teacher said as she give me my testpaper.

I can feel SooA's eyes glaring at me intensely. I'm used to this, me having the highest score and her being jealous because of it.

The main reason why I am bullied.

I'm used to it yet I still tremble. Scared of the things she can do to me.

The bell rang and the class was dismissed. Everyone started to pack their bags and left except me.

I can feel SooA coming closer to my desk with her so called 'friends' by her side.

"Yah! Son Minji!" She said as she held my face making look at her, making me look at her eyes which made me tremble in fear.

"You aren't giving up huh? Do you really want this shit going till we graduate? All I want is to be the one at the top yet you......" She said pointing at me "I told you to get out of my way already yet you didn't"

Tears started to blind my vission as she held my face tightly.

"I'm warning you Son Minji" Then she let go and left, like always.

I hate this. I want to fight, stand up for myself, but I can't. I'm not brave enough, I'm weak.

I packed my bag as I try to stop my tears from falling. I'm used to hiding them but somehow they always come back.

"I'm home!!" I shouted as I open the door

"Great! Just in time, come let's eat dinner" Mom shouted from the dinner

"Hey pumpkin" Dad said as he walked down the stairs

I smiled, home is where I'm most happy. My smile is brighter and everything is just better. Because no one under this roof except me being constantly bullied in school.

We ate dinner peacefully, full of laughter and joy, just simple. We're a simple but happy family. My mom and dad are my everything. They're my light when I'm lost in the dark. They're my happiness when I'm feeling down. They're my hope when I'm feeling hopeless.

My only wish is to be with them forever

But there's no such thing as forever.....
