I'd spent the next few days in bed. I didn't go to school, because I couldn't care less. Jazz called me and asked if I could go hang out with her. I turned her down because she was the last thing I cared about. I know I am being rude, she's so nice. But she's not Niomi so. That's that.
Mum left me food for lunch, as I faked being ill. I just wanted Niomi back. I decide to call her even though I know she won't answer because she's probably at school. She never misses school.
I call her and pray in my head that she answers. Suddenly it stops ringing. I gasp.
"Niomi?" I whisper.
"Marky" she sounds relived and she called me Marky which must mean something good.
"Niomi, I'm-" I start but she stops me.
"No I'm sorry. I need you, as a friend. I might feel that way but I'd rather have you in the way I don't want you then not have you at all. But we forget about this all now, okay?"
I need to tell her how I feel. "Niomi, I feel the-"
"Marky! Did you just hear what I said! No more! Just comment on how I'm not at school right now!"
I remember that suddenly and gasp. "Nimbobs, not at school!"
I hear her chuckle. "Some people are worth.." She begins.
"Melting for?" I ask and I hear her beautiful laugh. She is amazing and I wish she listened to me.
"Melting for and missing school!" She grins. I can hear her book by her. I laugh. I bet she's reading.
"What?" She asks.
"Nimbob, are you revising?" I grin, waiting for her response.
"Look. I'm missing school, what more do you want from me? Huh? Huh? HUHHHHHH" she laughs.
I laugh too. Then she says, "how is Jazz?"
I sight and shake my head. "I haven't spoken to her in days. I'm trying to block her out I guess."
"Really? Oh, are you breaking up?" Niomi asks and I can hear that hint of happiness in her voice.
I hold in my laugh and say, "probably. I like someone else."
"Who?" She urges, I can almost hear her heart beat. Weird. She must be really
"you." I said it! She didn't interrupt me! She knows! It's Narcus now! I only just thought of that, wow!
"That's so mean Marky!" She moans, and I hear the phone being thrown somewhere in her room. Then I make out they she's on speaker.
"No I do!" I say, "honestly!" I am getting too... pushy. Of course she doesn't believe me! If I was her, I would not believe me.
"Cmon, jokes over. That's really mean, you can't fake that you like me as a joke because I do."
I am about to fight back but I sigh and say sadly, "sorry."
"It's okay, just don't make that joke again."
"If you buy me a Pizza Hut, we can make that deal" I grin, crossing my fingers for that Pizza Hut. It's a bæ. That's right, Marcus said bæ. Peace.
"Okay! As long as I get my fair!" Niomi laughs.
We talk for a while, joking and laughing. Then we go on Skype and talk properly. We speak for hours, each of us having the most fun. Niomi starts playing 'Waves' and starts moving her shoulders to the beat. I join in but I sing as well. She starts singing.
"I can dance better" Niomi says with a laugh.
Lie. Lie. Lie.
"Ohhhhhh!" I say and start dancing. We both start jumping on our beds until I jump too high and fall. I moan and Niomi laughs.
Oh and she also.... Nope she just laughs.
"Shut up, it's hurting!" I laugh.
Niomi smiles and says, "sorry Marky."
I grin and hear the door open. Mum. "I gotta go, Nimbobs. See you at school tomorrow."
"Byeeee!" Niomi calls as I end the Skype and jump into bed to here my Mum yell, "why
didn't you eat your food I laid out for you?"
Awww x 10000 = AWWWWWWWW
