How you two meet

I walked into the Grill and over to the bar, needing a strong drink after the night I've had. My idiot friends ditched me for some stupid party and left me to walk home in the cold. Only I found myself here in the Grill rather than home in my bed. I sat down next to some man as the bartender came over and took my drink order.

"Whiskey, that's strong." He commented. I looked over at him to see his blue eyes already staring.

"Sort of, what's that you got there?" I asked referring to his half empty glass.

"Bourbon but it doesn't seem to be strong enough tonight." He sounded sort of annoyed.

"I'm y/n." I introduced. He smiled at me and shook my hand. "Damon."

I groaned as my friend Elena pulled me into some house that belongs to her boyfriend who I've never met before. Her boyfriend Damon lives here and she forgot something so we drove all the way here to get it. Elena and I met in college but she never introduced me to her friends yet.

"It's upstairs, I'll be quick." She assured me. I nodded as she left to get whatever it is she needs. As I'm waiting I began to look around at the home that I'm in. It looks almost old but in a nice way. I smiled when I saw all the books, I'm a huge book nerd.

"You like to read?" I hear a voice from behind me. I turned and saw a man standing there with a small smile on his face.

"Yea I love to read." I answered.

"Me too, I'm Stefan." He introduced.

"I'm y/n." I smiled.

School finally let out and I rushed out the doors anxiously trying to get home. It's finally the weekend and I'm ready to spend it binge watching all my favorite shows. As I'm rushing to my car I bumped into someone causing me to fall along with all my books.

I groaned and looked up to see a guy standing there looking at me nervously. He knelt down in front of me and started to pick up my books.

"Sorry about that." I apologized, feeling embarrassed.

"It's cool, I'm Jeremy." He smiled as he held his hand out for me to shake. "Y/n." I said shaking his hand.

"Do I have to go with you to the Mikaelson house?" I asked Damon as he made me go with him. "Yes." He sternly said. I rolled my eyes as we approached the door and knocked. Soon a man answered the door but a smile spread wide across his face when he saw me.

That made me feel a little uncomfortable so I just stayed close behind Damon.

"I told you to quit sending your hybrids after my friends." Damon glared at him.

"I'm sorry I don't believe we've met before love, I'm Klaus." He smiled at me.

"Y/n." I shyly said.

"Choke me." Damon groaned.

I ran through the house trying to find a place to hide before I get my blood drained or head ripped completely off. I went into my bedroom and hid under the bed. Klaus sent his hybrids after me to teach Damon and Stefan a lesson.

"I hear your heart racing!" The guy yelled making me cover my mouth from crying out loud. It got quiet for a moment until my bed was shoved to the side and I was pulled up off the floor by the hybrid.

"I can't wait to taste your blood." He smirked at me.

"Then I guess you'll be waiting a while." A voice said before his head was ripped off his body. I gasped and looked to see his killer. It's a man wearing a now bloody suit.

"I'm Elijah." He introduced.

"Y/n." I whispered.

I rolled my eyes as I had to listen to Damon and Bonnie fight. Ever since we got locked in this stupid prison world all they've done is fight. I tried to sneak away and successfully did but found myself walking alone down the street. Finally I entered the grocery store that we were going to and began to shop.

As I'm shoving things that only I like into the cart I hear a noise from the next aisle. Frowning I went to check it out but saw no one. My anxiety began to build as I looked around but couldn't find where the noise came from.

"So funny Damon!" I yelled as I went back to shopping. Suddenly there was a noise behind me and I turned to see a guy standing there smirking widely.

"Who are you?" I asked frightened.

"Kai." He answered. "Good to meet you y/n."
