Chapter-62

"You are dumb if you think I'm apologizing to this fat bitch." She said and looked away. I only snorted in response. At this point her insults don't even feel like insults.

"I'm sorry."someone said quietly. Everyone looked at Emily surprised.

"What we did was terrible. We were just bunch of immature snobs. We cannot undo what we did to you but we can surely say sorry. So Scarlett I'm really really really sorry. I was a shitty friend. I hope you have it in you to forgive me."she said looking down with shame.

Emil, mark, Margaret soon apologize to me one by one after her.

"It's okay guys, I'm happy you realised your mistake. Let's just keep it past and move on. I'm sorry but i cannot be your friend just like that but I'll try." I said.

"No problem Scarlett. We are all happy you forgave us."mark said and everyone smiled while nodding.

"Pathetic." Rebeccah seethed.

"Excuse me?"Emily retorted.

"I said you all are pathetic. Bowing down to this worthless scum. We all know Micheal was mine before she came in. She snatched him away from me. She should be apologizing to me."she yelled.

"Whom Michael chooses is his sole choice Rebeccah. If you remember he hated me back then. And as for me i left Chicago as  soon as school was over while you were with him all that time. If he wanted you then he'd have done that even before i came in. So back off." I say calmly.

"Fuck y'all." She says and storms off.

"Now that the drama is over can we go and eat something nice? I'm starving."Emil says breaking the tension.

"Fuck yeah. Micheal's engagement party."mark shouts.

Everyone hoots as Michael agrees. We end up going to a nice restaurant and having a good night. Everyone fills me upon their highschool expeditions, bringing back the nostalgia. I just smile with content. All night Micheal holds my hands never letting go. He kisses me frequently making me blush. We all talk about our wedding. Everyone is excited. Emily and Margaret self declare themselves as my bridesmaids. In all we have an amazing time.

"I can't belive we are getting married." I say looking at expensive Rock on my finger.

"As surreal as it feels we really are getting married baby."Micheal kisses my ring making me smile.

We are currently in Micheal's car heading home. And this is best day in my life. I can't wait to get married to King of my dreams.

"Now we have to tell Stella and my family."he says.

"Yeah i cannot wait to see their reaction." I say looking our entwined hands and my ring.

The morning after i call aunt Stella and tell her to come over. Micheal tells same to his family. Everyone gathers in our home in two hours. I take the ring off to avoid spoiling the surprise.

"Tell me what's going on. You guys are scaring me with those faces." Aunt Stella says making us chuckle.

Natasha and Charlie are looking at us with curious eyes.

"Will you tell us already?!" She asks impatiently.

"Of course. But first i have to video call Katherine." I say and call her. After she picks up i hand  over the phone to aunt Stella.

Micheal and i look at each other and exclaim "we're getting married."

And we hear consecutive 'whats' from all four.
