After the intense staring session I finally looked away from Robb. My mother grabs my arm and makes me walk with her over to Lord Ned and Lady Catelyn.
"My Queen" they both said as they bowed
"You must be princess Alyssa, you look very different from the last time we saw you" Ned says looking away from my mother and at me instead
"Yes, it is a pleasure to meet you" I say bowing
"Take me to your crypt, I want to pay my respects" my father says making us pay attention to him
"We've been riding for a month, my love. Surely the dead can wait" my mother says but as always my father doesn't care about what she has to say.
"Ned" he says making Ned walk after him, my mother quickly walks over to my uncle leaving me alone
"Princess Alyssa, I'm Catelyn. It's a pleasure to meet you" Lady Catelyn says walking over to where I'm standing
"The pleasure is all mine, Winterfell is even more beautiful then I remember" I say
"It surely can not be more beautiful then Kingslanding" lady Catelyn
"That may be but a change of scenery is always nice, though I must say it's a lot colder then I imagined " I say smiling at her
"Yeah well, we are in the north" she says
" that we definitely are" I say
"Robb, come here my dear" Lady Catelyn says making Robb walk over to us "meet Princess Alyssa" she says
"Hello Princess, I must say that you're even more beautiful then the stories we hear poetry you as" he say bowing
"And you even more handsome" I say with a smirk
"Robb, would you be a dear and say Princess Alyssa to her room" Lady Catelyn asks
"Of course, mother" he say putting out his arm for me to take, which I happily do.
"So what do you think of Winterfell so far?" Robb asks as we begin to walk
"From what I've seen it's lovely, I would love to see more of it" I say
"If you want I can show you around tomorrow morning" Robb says
"That would be lovely" I say smiling at him
"If you don't mind me asking, I was wondering why your father decided to travel all the way from Kingslanding all of a sudden. Do you know why?" Robb asks me
"I know a few reasons but probably not then all. You see, the hand of the king just died and my father need a new one, so the chances of him asking yours is very big" I say
"I'm not sure my father would want to be hand of the king because that would mean leaving his whole family here" Robb says
"That's just it, he won't be leaving his family at least not the whole family. He's going to ask your father to agree to marry Jeffrey and Sansa and me and you as a way to unite our houses. That way Sansa and Arya are probably going with him to Kingslanding and I will stay here" I say, my mother is probably going to kill me for telling Robb all of this but he deserves to know
"I wasn't seeing that coming, but I definitely wouldn't mind marrying someone as beautiful as you" Robb says
"You flatter me, Robb" I say blushing
"This is your chambers, if you need anything mine is just around the corner. You should probably get ready for the feast now" Robb say before leaving me alone in my new chambers.
