Chapter 1 True Love Hurts

The Royal Guard is here! Men were shouting. I haven't seen Chaol and Dorian since the beginning of the war. Sir Chaol Westfall and Sir Dorian Havilliard. Everyone turned and looked at the heroes. Chaol (22) with black hair braud cholders, icy blue eyes, and golden tan skin. He didn't take his eyes off me. It was as if im seeing her for the first time. Celaena Sardothien (20). Her golden blond hair tiny waist and the most beautiful eyes. I couldn't help but look at how beautiful she is. Then there's Dorian (25). He is blond with eyes golden brown with a birthmark on his eye so its partly blue. Celaena long time huh? Why yes "Sir" Dorian and Chaol. Chaol looked stunned and fell off his horse. Ellea arrived just in time.

Dorian looked at Ellea and laughed. Sorry, I fall for beautiful people chaol said. Classic flirt. When we got to the castle Ellea and I went into our chambers to wash up for dinner with Dorian and Chaol. It was dinner time but I wasn't that hungry. Chaol didn't look at me through the whole dinner. I wonder why? He wouldn't stop looking at me before. Ellea was laughing at Dorian's jokes (shes had a crush on him since we were kids). I wasn't feeling that well and went back to my room. Back in the room (I share with Ellea). There was a knock on the door. "come in" I said and Dorian appeared. He saw me and turned red. I was in my nightdress and well it was awkward. He told me that he could tell Ellea didn't get over her crush on him. It wasn't hard to tell. Yea I said laughing. She's been talking about your return since we got the letter. But its un highly of you to be in my room at this time. So goodnight Dorian.

That night I went for a walk to clear my mind when all of a sudden a person tackled me. Going somewhere, Sardothien? I knew that voice anywhere. And only one person called me by my last name. Chaol? I asked. Where the hell do you think you're going? Ha well if you must know I said im going for an evening walk. Wich, you so abruptly messed up. But if I may I started... Oh, cmon Sardothien you know for damn sure I get worried about you. So please don't go for "Walks" without telling anyone. Ok? Yes, sir, I said. Goodnight Celaena try not to dream of me;). Only a Westfall would say that I said.

The next morning ellea was walking and saw the boys fencing. I have known Chaol, Dorian, and Ellea since I was 4. We all went to the same school. Ellea (18) has had a crush on Dorian since she was 6. We found that out when we played secrets and sins. I never really fell for any of the boys. They have been like my brothers from day one. But I can't say the same for them. Don't get me wrong they both are handsome. But I've never felt anything for ANY boy. Maybe because im afraid of heartbreak.

Today is the day the king finds an heir considering the queen can't have children. All Ye All Ye I have a message from the king to declare the prince and future king. It has come to the conclusion that I will need an heir. It was very tough. between these 2 men, I would have both of them as my heir. So because I love them both as my own. so I hereby declare......... Chaol Westfall and Dorian Havilliard as my heir. they both will be crowned prince in 3 days' time. By the end of the month, they will need to have ad a bride

Chaol and Dorian were taken by the king to talk about it before I could congratulate both of them. I don't know why but I have this strong feeling about chaol. I realized I might be falling for him I said to ellea. I can't stop thinking about the other night when he said he gets worried about me. Its as if I love him.... Ha said ellea with her mouth full of fruit. You never fell for chaol before. I think you just wanna be queen. The hell ellea I would never be queen unless it meant getting rid of Dorian I said. Your gonna pay for that. Next thing I know ellea is literally trying to kill me. I know how long they were there but when we got done play fighting there they were. Chaol and Dorian were just standing there both red. That's when realized me and ellea were in our nightgowns and you could see right through them. Ellea and startled both boys. WHAT THE HELL! How could you stand there and watch as we were half-naked? I think we both wished you were naked chaol said underneath his breath. Excuse me I said. Would you like to say that louder CAKE HOLE! Chaol grew red and ran up to me as if he was gonna hit me but instead, he just whispered. Don't ever call me cakehole or I might punish you. He was so warm and I couldn't help but kiss him. It was as if it was our first kiss. We kissed once from a bottle game. But this kiss was so sweet and made me never wanna release. The one thing that surprised me was when chaol didn't push me away it was as if he wanted it all along. When the kiss ended Dorian and ellea were standing their mouths open. I couldn't help but pull a joke. Aww, ellea do you want Dorian to kiss you I said. You're in for it now Celaena. Wow, that girls got skills right chaol? Said, Dorian. How the hell would you know? Unless of course... You've kissed her as well. Well, what if I did why would it matter. It matters chaol started because I want her to be MY wife. I never could tell if she liked me or not but that kiss says it all. Tomorrow at dawn I will ask her to be my wife. And if she says yes then you will refer to her as....... MRS.WESTFALL! Chaol shouted. Well well well said a voice from behind us. King Liam, we said with a bow. So one of my heirs is going to ask someone to be his wife now huh. Yes, sir said chaol. Well, what's her name lad? Her name is.... Franchichcaa potatolah snorted Dorian. Wow said the king umm that's a little umm how do I say this. You're majesty if I may interrupt said chaol. Her name is not whatever the hell Dorian just said. Her name is Celaena Sardothien and I want her to be my queen. Guards! Shouted the king please, bring me Celaena Sardothhien to me we have something to talk about with sir chaol. Please invite her to dinner tonight! But his majesty how will we find her. I don't give a rats ass HOW you find her I just need you to find her. Sir Dorian said I Also want miss Celaena Sardothien to be my wife. Chaol looks furious at what I just said but I can't hide my feelings. Dorian you cant steal another man's wife. But I love her said, Dorian. And I want her. Dorian said chaol. You knew I wanted her as my wife. Did I do or say something that upset you. Is this some type of revenge. As I said, Dorian. I love her and no one can stop my love for her. Well said, king Liam. I guess we're just gonna have to do this the hard way then. I want you men to sort this out by dinner. She will be joining us and SHE will decide who she wants.

The king as requested you milady said the guard he wants you to attend tonight dinner with sir chaol and sir Dorian. Oh, I said. Can I as what for. Im sorry milady but I can't say that. Its ok Fredrick I understand. Until later. Goodbye. I have known Fredrick since I could remember. We were best friends. At least until chaol and Dorian moved here. I don't think anyone knows this but chaol and Dorian are fraternal twins. Yes, they have different last names. But its because they don't want to be known as twins. Their life was hell when they were younger. Their own father was murdered by their uncle. I also used to be in love with Fredrick. But when chaol and Dorian came I felt a weird feeling for Dorian that I couldn't explain. But now I don't love anybody.....

Milady!! The king said with batty eyes. It's so good to meet you, dear. Aww, it's so good to meet you too. May I ask why I was summoned so early. It's not even dinner yet. Yes, said the king I wanted to know for the boy's sakes. Who do you love? I couldn't believe my ears did the king just ask me that. I felt numb and I felt my face get red.
