The girls pulled away from the hug both with a smile forming on both of their faces. You could still see the tears in Beth's eyes from all the crying she had been doing. Daan hated seeing this especially after knowing that she was the cause of all off it. "I really am sorry" Daan said to Beth. Beth knew she was sorry but they still needed to talk about all of it. Even though it was going go be hard. "I know Danielle, but we still need to talk about it" she said. Daan knew they had to but she is never really good at talking, she never has been and never will be. She was willing to try for Beth. "I'll try okay" Beth smiled at the girl and tapped on her bed.

When Daan sat down on Beth's bed things started to get real. Beth saw the fear  look in her eyes and gave her a bottle of water. She drank it in no time Beth chuckled a bit. "I don't know how to do this" the brunette said still scared. Beth gave her a reassuring smile. "It's okay" Daan looked down to the floor. "Why didn't you tell me, that you played for arsenal" Beth asked. "Uhh sometimes i like to be myself, no expectations,  no prejudices(vooroordelen). just me a small dutch girl from Valkenswaard" She said. Beth knew exactly what the girl meant. "I get that i do. It's why i lied actually" "oww" Daan said surprised .

"But Danielle why did you act that way torwards me?". Daan knew if she wanted to save what was left between the two she had to tell her the truth. Now was not the time for lies she told herself. "Uhm to be honest you scared the crap out of me. I felt good when i was with you confident but that all went away when i saw you at the pitch the next morning. I just couldn't go further not with what happened" Daan said. The thought of going back to that hurt her. "What happened" Beth asked.

Daan found all her strength to get the words out of her mouth but she managed to in the end. "I used to play for Göteborg fc. Me and this girl started to get along really well and then we started seeing each other. When the coaches caught us making out they were pissed. They said it was unprofessional and they decided not to extend my contract" Beth felt so bad for the girl. No one should be 'fired' for their relationship. "You know Joe would never do that" Beth said. "I know it just brought so many bad things back,she broke up with me after we got caught" she said. "I know. Where do we go from here?" The blonde said. "Not the bathroom😂" Daan joked. Beth couldn't help but laugh she was happy to see that smile again. "No but we'll see" "okay"Beth said. Daan got up from the bed and gave her a hug.

Beth drifted off to sleep peaceful this time knowing it will work out the wat it's supposed.
When Daan woke up the next morning she was happy. She was glad that she and Beth finally got the elephant out of the room. They didn't know how things would go from here but that was up to them. Beth was tossing and turning, when she opened her eyes she was smiling at the brunette. "Goodmorning, breakfast is in 10" she said. "What why didn't you wake me up" Beth said stepping out of the bed. Getting her training gear out of the cupboard, walking in the bathroom to change and brush her teeth. "Okay let's go" she said. Opening the door.

The girls rushed downstairs as soon as possible, At least Beth was. Daan knew Breakfast didn't start in over an hour or so. She wanted to prank the girl and couldn't stop herself when the idea popped up in her head. "Wait where is everyone?" Beth said when she found the dining room empty. Daan laughed. "Check the time on you phone" she said. When Beth looked you could see that she was a bit annoyed and amused at the same time. "DANIELLE" she said. Daan couldn't stop laughing it was just so funny. "Yeah sorry about that" she said with her puppy dog eyes.

The girls just stayed their for a bit on their phones not really talking to each other, not knowing what to say. It was still a bit uncomfortable between the two girls but they had a better understanding of each other now. Much to the girls suprise Kim entered the room smiling at the two. "You talked i see" "we did" Daan said. "I'm proud of you. I know that was hard" kim said hugging Daan. "So?" She said. "We'll see how it goes" Beth said. "But we have to avoid bathrooms" Daan said. Beth was happy the girl could make jokes about it. It made all of it a bit less akward. "Good to see the smiles on both of your faces" Kim said. "We will support you both no matter what the outcome of this will be" She said. "Thnx Kimmie" Daan said. Before Beth could say thank you she had already left the two alone again. "See i told you" she said. "I know" Daan said to the blonde. It felt reassuring the team had her back in this situation that was about to get more difficult than she ever could've guessed.
