━━━ eden shelby's life had its ups and downs. not to be too dramatic ( as polly stressed, that she was ) but the success that her brother's had brought upon the family had her sitting comfortably. everyone else was off living in their spacious countryside homes while eden and finn shelby roomed together in small heath, closer to the work finn so desperately wanted to involve himself in.
tommy's unquenchable thirst for whatever the fuck he is searching for had befallen upon the shelby family many times but, this one was too much for eden shelby. the death of her older brother hit her square in the chest. the black hand her and finn had received seemed so far away in her mind that all she could think about was john.
john holding her hand on her way to school. john making her laugh after jordan port had made her cry. john handing over his youngest child for her to hold, the smile on his face so untamed and childlike, the pure joy of being alive. well, that had been blown away. a stupid fucking vendetta. a stupid nonsensical vendetta created and being acted out by stupid, nonsensical men.
and eden fucking hated it. eden officially fucking hated everything ( except finn, and little baby charlie, and the countless piles of lacy undergarments she had stashed away at home ). she decided she would make it well known how much she fucking hated them and everything around them. the resting bitch face had been a signature for years, but it was back with a vengeance.
until bonnie fucking gold rode past on his stupid horse with his stupid hat and blood staining his fingertips after loading the bodies of the italian try-hards upon another horse ( how many horses did they have? johnny did say they stole them... ) and then eden knew she was who she fucking hated.
