"Really Nagito I'm okay." I chuckled slightly as I walked out of the bathroom looking ready for the rest of the day. Nagito sat in the chair pulled next to my bed from my small desk in the corner. I sat down on the neatly made bed in front of me.
"Okay I'm glad because you screamed awfully loud." We both chuckled again and stopped as dead silence grew giving a strange awkward pause.

"Do you need to talk about it?" He questioned and I shook my head.
"I have nightmares a lot, I usually talk to Chiaki about them but..." he cringed at the last sentence.
I wish they would just make up already, I could tell they missed each other. I mean for crying out loud they are best friends!

I thought about the monotone voices again, as well as the foggy figures. It made a chill go down my spine.
"Actually...maybe you could listen?" I tilted my head slenderly.
I began talking about the dream sequence I had just been through.
The monotone voices.

And the fake classmates that weren't really them.
"And that's how it ended." I said.
"That sounds horrible, none of us are like that." I nodded in agreement.
"Now are you going to tell me why you or how you were at my door so fast?" I thought I saw Nagito's cheeks grow pink in color but only for a split second.
I wasn't sure why, maybe he felt sick? I hoped not.

"Oh, well I was going to come wake you up. Because Mahiru invited everyone out for the night and you have been sleeping for most of the day." He explained.
"What exactly are we doing?" I asked as I stood up stretching my arms.
"She said it was something about constellations. She wants to take high definition photos of them apparently." He explained into detail.

My eyes lit up.
"That actually sounds really nice." I smiled at the thought of my old bedroom window a few constellations sprawled across the sky each twinkling brightly in their own way, That's one thing I am missing on this trip.

But that thought was gone in a second, although I was excited to go see everyone but it could also be super embarrassing considering earlier.

"So are you up for it? Or are you still tired?" He questioned.

I looked through the tall glass window and saw the bright sun dipping down into the earth's surface.
"We probably should, the sun is just about gone." He stood up on tall legs ready to leave. Standing up next to him I realized he was a tad taller than me.

We walked peacefully down the brown boards lining our walkway.
"I can't believe I was that ridiculous earlier." I crossed my arms in embarrassment releasing a heavy sigh.

"It's okay, I'm sure everyone understands." Nagito pointed out the stars that were appearing in the thin night air.
"This looks like it will be just about right for tonight." He exclaimed looking over at me. His smile curved like it always did but this time it looked real, not glued onto a plastic Manikin like it always had.

He saw me staring as his beaming grin fell. I furrowed my brows in confusion, why had he did that?
"We should probably hurry up." He walked ahead of me picking up pace.
"Nagito?" I quickly caught up as we continued to walk to our destination.

"You guys made it!" Kazuichi's wide grin made the group light up with joy.
Fuyuhiko and Nekomaru were helping Mahiru with a heavy looking microscope. It was black and had sliver running down the side of it.

They lifted it up together dragging it towards the door.
"Hajime! How are you doing?" Chiaki questioned me as I walked into the door, Nagito trailing next to me.
Chiaki stopped dead in her tracks,
She looked over at Nagito with a guiltiness in her eyes.
I quickly broke the awkwardness which was unlike me.

"I'm doing good I got a lot of sleep, but I'm ready for whatever plans Mahiru has for the evening." I motioned over to the big camera being hauled out the door.
"Oh yeah w-were g-going to the beach, Mahiru wants to take pictures of the c-constellations with this s-special camera." Mikan said.

"That actually sounds really nice." I smiled thinking back to my small room window. The black window sill and the sky looming over the bright city.
"Hey hajime, come help us with this!" I heard fuyuhiko scream from a few feet outside the door.
"Okay I'll be right back." I said as I also noticed Nagito and Chiaki awkwardly standing there, arms crossed and silent.

I nudged Nagito slightly looking over at her. I think he got my point because he slightly rolled his eyes, but I could still see the hidden emotions seeping out from him.

I walked over picking up a end of the giant camera.
"Okay Guys be careful!" Mahiru said waving her hands by it even though it was very steady. I mean with Kazuichi, fuyuhiko, Nekomaru, and myself carrying it it wasn't that bad at all.

After finally getting to the beach we set the giant camera down on the grainy sand.
The stars were lighting up in the sky, sending a wave of excitement through the air.

"This is perfect!" Mahiru shouted startling me a bit. Everyone's footprints lined the shore as Mahiru's eyes lit up in awe. She twisted the camera, I assumed she zoomed in while she looked through the giant camera lense. In all honesty it was more of a telescope than a camera to me.

I stared off into the distant ocean of the night, the waves barley clashed together in a fight anymore.
"Let me see, let me see!" Ibuki whined as Mahiru was taking pictures.
"Okay just give me a few minutes." She was very intent on getting a good photo. Everyone sat down on the golden brown sand most of us were having a small conversation with someone.

But instead I sat down hugging my knees to my chest, it was the first time on this trip I had felt completely content with myself. Things had changed so fast, I had a bunch of friends, I liked the trip, and hanging around my classmates was actually really nice. I saw a familiar pink and white rabbit walk towards the teens lined on the beach.

"What are you all up to this evening?" She looked around and smiled. She also watched us talking and laughing with each other.
"I'm glad your all getting along!" Usami exclaimed while walking over to Mahiru.
Mahiru turned to look at the small rabbit who was very interested in the big camera. I then saw her pick her up showing Usami how to use the camera. A happy expression had grown onto her face in the matter of seconds.

I scanned the beach shore and saw the white headed boy finally communicating with the happy pink headed girl. They were laughing and joking quietly amongst themselves, that must have been a good sign right?

Staring at the stars seemed to move on forever. The look that appeared on all of my friends faces made me beam with happiness.
I felt a presence sit next to me as I continued to stare at the brightly colored stars I felt another person sit down next to me.

"It's really breathtaking isn't it?" Chiaki's voice had a smile attached to it.
"It really is, I always see this outside my room every night." Remembering the glowing vibrant sky.
"Really?" Nagito questioned.
"That must be very beautiful." His eyes filled with a vibrant happiness unlike the way I had saw him before.
It's strange the way people can change so fast.

A feeling of happiness over came me making me feel over joyed I wasn't sure why it had occurred but it had. I didn't mind too much at least I felt some sort of peace. No trace of awkwardness or sadness, I just felt happy.
"Hajime, we just wanted to apologize. Acting like that to each other was really rude and mean to you and Kazuichi." I nodded not wanting to think about what had occurred.

"It's okay you guys, It's over right? There should be no reason to apologize." I relaxed my arms and placed them on the soft ground.

I put my arms around both of them, it must have startled them though because they both jumped but leaned in to the hug eventually.

"I'm really glad I met you guys and have gotten to know you so much better." The stars twirled in the lateness of the night but no one seemed to care besides a few of us.

Right then and there it was peaceful and it's all we needed. A few friends and a beautiful sky.
