Rakugaki no Kokoro I. Graffiti under the moon

"So (Name), you still dating that idiot Zack Fair?"

More blue. Night sky blue. The deep dark kind of blue.

Fang rolled her eyes when you didn't answer. You did this often. You got so caught up in painting that you completely blocked out the world around you. All that you saw were the colours in front of you. All that you could see were the colours in front of you, hear the sound of a spray can hissing as they painted the wall and the swipe of a brush and smell the sour but somehow sweet odour of the paint wafting through your nose. You loved it all. You couldn’t care less if it was illegal to graffiti on any wall you saw fit. Painting was your life and you wouldn’t give it up for the world. “Oi (Name)!” An empty spray can smacked you in the face immediately shoving you out of your dreamlike trance.

“Ouch,” You mumbled rubbing your cheekbone that was now stained with a flicker of blue paint. You shot a lazy glare her way. Fang looked at you with a raised eyebrow and crossed arms. Then it ticked, she’d asked you a question. “Sorry, repeat.”

“I asked if you were still going out with that idiot.” She repeated with a heavy sigh.

“No, I broke up with him a while ago.” You replied with no remorse in your tone what so ever, and returned to finishing the moon that dripping virgin white paint below it as if it was melting.

“Glad to hear it, but how come? You didn’t tell him that you were Chaos did you?” She interrogated giving you a stern look. You shook your head and added a single black filled in bird in front of the moon.

“Don’t worry I would never even think of revealing myself or yours to anyone, not even Sally,” Sally was like a mother to you. The kind but hot blooded red head was your mother’s best friend, note the past tense, now she looked after you in a way. Gave you food and shelter. “Anyways I broke up with ‘that idiot’ because I broke his nose.” You said simply adding the final touches. The brunette burst out into fits of laughter. A small smile tugged at your lips as Fang tried to maintain herself. “Would you like to share what you find so funny?”

“Now why would you break up with someone because you broke their nose?” She chuckled, her ever green eyes flashing with amusement.

Your best friend Fang was a tall woman at 5'9" and has the physical appearance of a twenty-one-year-old. She had bronze skin and wavy dark brown hair with a braid behind her left ear. Her eyes are green and she had a beauty mark beneath her right eye. Fang wore purple claw-shaped earrings and had scars on her right arm and shoulder, and her attire was blue clothing resembling a traditional Indian sari adorned with tribal accessories. In addition to the sari, Fang wore a short black top, black sleeves over her forearms, tan leather open-toed sandals, and two fur pelts hanging from a cord beneath the belt that holds her spear. Fang has a tattoo of a l'Cie brand on her right shoulder and a large tattoo on the other.

From being with her for so long long you knew that she is cocky, confident, and stubborn, and is sarcastic, determined, and independent, but insecure whenever talking about her past, so you didn’t bring that up too often. She has a quick wit and a dry sense of humour and can be strict. Although she comes across as cocky and confident, Fang has a caring and compassionate side which only you and Vanille get to see.
