"Don't you have some other work rather then annoying me in early morning?" Ishita sneered with anger seeing him blocking her path.
"Yes I have but I think I need to remind you your wifey duties." He emphasised wifey with annoying smirk. "Where is my shirt?"
"I am not accountable of your stuffs." Ishita shurgged her shoulders in response continued to arrange the cushions on sofa.
"Well you're. Until and unless you're my wife. And as far as I remember you was the one who send my black shirt in laundry so you better give it to me I'd you don't want me to create any ruckus in the councilling." He winked at her before leaving for bedroom making her flare her nose in anger.
The shitty councilling Ishita muttered under her breath before stomping her foot on the floor. From morning she was trying to keep herself busy in work so that she can forget about unavoidable councilling. The last few days of her life were complete roller coaster for Ishita. She never imagined herself as a dutiful wife and responsible mother but now that's what she is from last one week and probably going to be for next six months.
"Are you coming or not?"
Hell with wifey duties Ishita cursed him under the breath and rushed towards her bedroom.

Unlike home, the car ride was a silent one for Ishita. After finishing there breakfasts they hopped in his BMW and soon his car zoomed on busy roads of South Delhi. Ishita glanced towards her husband before turning her focus back on the roads. The South Delhi roads looked same like any usual days, extremely jammmed. The cars and buses were running like they competing to win from each other, the two wheelers were taking advantages to escape from traffic from the narrow spaces between cars and buses, the vendors were trying to lure the peoples to buy the the small plastic toys they carrying. Few were begging to have food on the name of there kids or newborns other were trying to earn some money by wiping the cars. Ishita rolled the glasses down and gave the ten rupee note to little boy who tried to sell her balloons.
"Give one more." She looked at her husband who passed the boy another ten rupee note and took the blue balloon from him. She kept the two colorful balloon at backseat where he ignited the car.
"Oh god!!! Roohi forget her water bottle in car." Ishita shrieked due to fear spotting her daughter pink color bottle hidden behind the balloons she kept.
"You spotted it quite early." She narrowed her brows listening his taunt. "I know it and also informed her teacher. She will buy her new bislery bottle from canteen."
"The problem wouldn't arise if you paid little attention while dropping her." Ishita glared him back as he continued to drive.
"That's bullshit!! It wouldn't happen if you woke up on time. Such an irresponsible mother." Raman taunted her back making her go mum.
"Stop repeating the same line. You very well know that I slept late last night. And if you're a responsible father then why can't you do my duties in my unavailability."
"My duty is to drop her not to ready her." He shrugged his shoulders casually like he gave the easiest answer to her. Ishita decided not to argue anymore, the world is still stuck in between the male duties and female duties rather than working on equalities. A woman mat play and male and a female part for the family but the male only plays the part he suppose to. She rested her head back on the seat as the flashes of last few days came back in her memories. No wonder Roohi is a beautiful child but certainly not easy to handle the way her Dadi and Paati described and Ishita couldn't help to recall the first day of her daughter new school.
