Invader Zim 》Not Just a Defect 《

Ch.41

“GUYS!” called Tallest Purple, standing up on the main stage, waving at the group of four. 

The four went up and stood on stage with the Tallest. Skoodge was also standing beside him, smiling excitedly. 

“Great to see you four again! I’m about to begin the speech. Just stand off to the side behind me and wait for me to introduce you five to come forward to retrieve the secondary honorary Hero of Irk medal” said Purple, holding up a smaller military medal. It was made of pure blue Miyukinite crystal. It was the Irken symbol with the four mechanical spider legs that some Irkens have. 

“Alright Almighty Tallest Purple” said Zim, saluting. 

Purple chuckled at Zims behavior. 

He was military ready and loyal to the empire for sure. No matter what, the small Irken would always be serious and ready for anything. Maybe it was his Era II Irken Invader program? Most of it had been deleted, such as going full Invader mode and going on a killing spree. The parts of the program that remained were the parts that gave him better accuracy and speed. Hologram Miyuki wasn’t apart of the program, but she did activate and give Zim his orders when the program had been activated. 

The five went to where Purple told them to stand. 

Next to them stood General Wronck, Triple 7, and Tak. General Wronck was wearing his full Irken General uniform, a bunch of medals clipped to the left side of his uniform jacket. Triple 7 was wearing what he normally wore, only he had his Vortian keycard clipped to the pocket of his lab coat. Tak was wearing the female Irken Ambassador uniform, consisting of a black skin tight bodysuit with a dark purple knee-length dress with two slits on either side, going up to her hips, and a lighter purple striped vest. She had a sash over her chest saying “Ambassador” in Irken. 

“So, you chose ME to become the Irken/Vortian Ambassador?” asked Tak, turning her head slightly so she was looking at Zim. 

Zim nodded.

“Yes. I thought you would make the perfect Ambassador. Consider this as me trying to apologize for ruining your life” said Zim, not looking at the female Irken as they stood behind the Tallest, watching the different species of aliens mingling with one another. 

“...thank you Zim. Apology accepted” said Tak, offering a small smile. 

Purple cleared his throat before speaking. 

“Welcome everyone!” he said, catching the attention of everyone in the room. Everyone got quiet so they could listen to what the Tallest had to say. 

“First, I would like to thank you all for coming. I’m so glad you are all here today on Conventia, to attend this gathering. The Irken/Vortian empire is growing in size and numbers, so I’m glad that we are all alleys. No more fighting, killing, or destroying of planets. We will now work together in peace, sharing resources and offering help whenever it is needed. I would also like to thank the Irken Invaders to taking over planets peacefully, as opposed to murder and bloodshed” said Purple, gesturing to the group of Irken Invaders. Standing off to the side of the stage. 

Everyone clapped for the Invaders, happy that they have willingly changed their ways. 

“Secondly, I would like to acknowledge Tallest Miyuki. Her death was tragic, and she didn’t deserve dying, getting eaten by an Infinity Energy Absorbing Blob of unknown origin” said Purple, purposely leaving out the fact that Zim created it. 

Zim sighed in relief at this. 

“Tallest Miyuki was a kind and respected leader. Instead of bloodshed and destruction, she preferred making peace and leading with a kind heart. She kept the Vortians safe, and even worked alongside them. She had this grace and beauty about herself that made everyone love and respect her as a truly great leader. Tallest Miyuki and her fellow Tallest Spork will forever be in our hearts, remembered for all the great things they did” said Purple, bowing his head in respect for the two former Tallests.
