SLOANE WAS absolutely nervous as she looked out of her window, noticing the Cable Car Station looming up ahead. It'd officially almost be time to leave the bus and make her way back to the one place she tried so hard to forget - the Washington Lodge. Also known as the last place she saw Hannah and Beth Washington Lodge a.k.a the place where Sloane lost everything. Everything being her friends and even a bit of her sanity.
The blonde was naturally reluctant upon seeing the place again but most of all, she was exceptionally nervous upon seeing her old friends. It had been a whole year since Sloane had seen everyone last, the once tight-knit group growing apart due to tragedy. The girl kept in contact with some of them but other than that, she hadn't heard from most of them in a while. Sloane had truly never felt guilt over anything until that very night. She was part of the reason that Hannah and Beth were gone in the first place and she could never forgive herself for the pain she caused Josh.
Whatever potential she and Josh had disintegrated the very moment his sisters went messing. As he should, he blamed her along with the others for their disappearance. That was probably what hurt Sloane most of all. She had managed to ruin the one genuine relationship she had. That was one of the few good things the girl was actually good at - ruining people and causing chaos. So you could imagine how she felt upon hearing Josh himself invite her back to the lodge. He told her that it was a chance to make amends once more with everyone else. Sloane agreed to come, only for Josh's sake. Even though he had told her that he forgave her, she still wanted to talk to him face to face.
But the girl was beginning to have second thoughts, just thinking about walking around in the lodge was enough to make her nervous. She wasn't sure how much she could handle being here without going into a full fledged panic attack. Letting out a deep breath to try and calm her nerves, Sloane ignored the bad vibes she was getting. It wasn't like she could turn back now so she'd make the best of it.
